Batteries are made pretty much the same by each manufacturer. In sprite of what a little bunny may have told you, the brand is nowhere near as important as the type. and materials. With the long shelf life, these are especially great in test equipment that sits longer than is actually used. Any nine volt product will do better with these.

I bought this battery for use in a smoke detector where it was not easy to replace it. Unfortunately, the battery lasted 11 months, much shorter than the ad suggested. Note: "Shelf Life" means sitting in storage unused.

I finally got wise and signed up for the subscription service for 9 volt batteries. You can ask for every 6 months so I always get a reminder to change out the smoke detectors. and no fighting shortages when everyone runs to the store because there is a hurricane in the Gulf!

We haven’t had any problems with them!

Sooo much better than an alkaline battery. This actually clicks activates my solenoids without air since it actually has the amps to do it. Very impressed. As mentioned in other reviews, the edges are rounded so more likely to fit in devices compared to the Energizers variant. Have and will be buying more... maybe quite a few more :)

So far, these are much better than the Energizer ones. I’ve had countless situations where the Energizer Lithium 9v won’t fit because of its rectangular shape with straight corners whereas the AmazonBasics version has rounded corners just like an alkaline 9v. It is also closer to the same size of an alkaline 9v.Too early to tell on the longevity of these but I have high hopes since these have been able to fit anywhere I would normally use an alkaline 9v.

Just kidding. When I was a kid, that was how you tested a 9-volt battery. You touched the poles to the tongue, and if you got shocked, the battery was still good.Not much I can say about these Amazon 9-volt batteries other than they are a good value and--as near I can tell-- just as good as Energizer, Duracell, etc.

I purchased these to replace the batteries in my smoke detector and a scale we use in the kitchen. I was attracted by the lithium type and the 10 year shelf-life, even though I was going to install them on arrival. I can’t yet speak to endurance or battery life.

Value for the money. Some say battery too big. But I find it the same size as others 9v batteries. I hope it will last longer compare to other battery. I will update if battery didn’t hold up. So far so good.

Seems to work just like the expensive ones but no bunny and drums......Great for remotes, radios, meters, smoke detectors and CO sensors and they will not corrode or explode in my experience with Lithium batteries even when stored in your vehicles.
