Curls just would not hold. It has a good hand feel and is not super heavy, it just doesn’t curl.

I have long wavy hair, I thought this curling iron would be hit considering coming from my 20 yr old Conair brand curling iron. I bought this new one because my conair brand is losing its original max heat temp. So after 20 years I thought eh let’s try a notch up in price and try another brand. This hot tools iron heats up meets the expectation though it turns out to be awful!. No wonder it’s on sale! The barrel snagged on my hair the whole time using it and on the clip. Kept slipping off in a rough feel not gliding down my hair! I have soft decent hair as it is. And the bagel feels cheap! So I definitely don’t recommend! Do not buy! Just save money and get a conair or spend the good $100/+ on a well known brand!

Yes this heats up, but once i got to the other portion of my hair my curls had already dropped. This is upsetting considering the price I really thought it was worth getting.

I had purchased this previously and my order was cancelled at 3am in the morning when target isn’t even open for pickup. At the time the 1.5’’ was 24.99 and now it’s 34.99. I hate this!

I have had this brand in the past but stopped because the hinge would always break. I decided to try it again after years and was disappointed. I bought this in June of 2023 and it is now dead not working and no heat April 2024. I also think the cordis too short and it did not hold my hair very well from the first day I bought it

When you attempt to close it down over the hair, the hinge (or something) often locks up/catches and won't shut all the way. Then when it does, it quickly closes, many times leaving a ridge line on your hair where the clamp went over it. Never had problems like this with any other curling iron I've had. Would not recommend.
