I purchased this device thinking I can attach it to my camera bag or put it inside my car in case it gets stolen. well if you are within 500 feet it will work, outside of that, you are SOL! you have to buy the LTE GPS version in order for it to work then you have to buy a subscription! its sucks!

I have this for about 4 months now. It is bad.You can't depends on it. The nearby or distant function that meant to help you to locate the key fobs is pointless. In my experience, you have to hold it next to the phone for your app to show the fob is near by.I can't find my car key today, and use the buzz setting, it didn't buzz at all. The fob is 60 percent charged, and it was inside my car , which is about 6 ft from phone. After all, this product is useless.

Bought these not knowing they are not compatible with Google only with the PebbleBee app. even though they are Gen2. A little disappointed.

Although these are Peeblebee Gen 2 clips, they Do NOT work on the newly rolled out Google (Android) Find My Device network. They only work with Apple and with the Android Peeblebee App. Only newer clips work with Google's network. These do not.
PD
The option to use these devices with Google find my device is new. This is why it would be very useful to explicitly disclose that this model cannot work with Google find my device. So, if you want to use it with Google do not buy it. If, instead, you want to use the pebblebee app, then go ahead. Unfortunately, Amazon is often sloppy and unreliable. It's better to buy it from the pebblebee web site.

Chipolo is simple and runs on find my network. The speaker comes out in less than 3 minutes so thieves have trouble finding it. I suggest them over pebblebee so far. I will tear into it later to find the speaker but don't think I'll keep it or run it

Pebblebee has a major problem of not differentiating clearly between Google find my trackers and apple/pebblebee network. Real disaster.

If you misplaced your keys at home somewhere, that is the only use I can see. If it is connected to my phone by bluetooth, buzz will find it.Otherwise and showing map is totally not working.I was in a park, holding my keys with it and tried to "find it", but map was showing it is 2 miles east (I have been there 1 hour ago).My phone, my pebblebee in my hands and map shows different location than blue dot on map showing me where I am right now.
