This is such a cool gift idea, headphones can be used and the volume can be adjusted.My son really loves this set and it has kept his interest for many months!

I fully recommend it.***review below***I've had this drum set for about two months.Very nice drum set! I played the drums a bit when I was in junior high school, and this is a cost effective way to have some fun before deciding if getting a bigger and more expensive kit is worth it.The Good: It's simple to use - just turn it on start playing! It's small and easy to transport. You can use headphones.The Bad: The quality is not what I expected. Literally the day AFTER I could easily return it on Amazon, it started acting up. Only able to attach one short video, but here is a brief description.***One of the pedals cracked. Other reviewers have mentioned various problems with the pedals.***One of the heads (what I think of as the hi-hat) randomly plays a different sound when you hit it. Obviously, this ruins the sound BUT it also throws off my rhythm, so my flow is completely disrupted. Another head does the same thing depending on WHERE you hit it (ie. center vs closer to edge).***On occasion, the whole kit starts making a loud, distorted noise. It resolves when I turn it off and back on once or twice.This is a lot of fun to use. If not for the above-mentioned problems, I'd give it a 5 star rating! Let's see if the company stands behind their product.*They do. FIVE STARS!

I was surprised at the quality of sound that comes out of this drum set. It has 2 petals that attach by wire in addition to the 7 surface drums. The included drum sticks are good quality, and the rechargeable battery makes this a good instrument to take out and use without the need to be plugged in. It is pretty loud at full volume, but can be turned down. I was skeptical before buying about the sound quality, but I was definately not disappointed. It does not take up much space at all, and can be moved from place to place easily. My son spilled a drink on the surface of it, and I literally wiped it off with no issues. The rubberized foam like surface repels liquids. I believe it has 2 speakers built in for stereo sound, and the bass tones really sound good. This was a great alternative for my son as opposed to getting him an actual drum set that would take up way too much space in his room, and cant be easily moved.Overall I was pleased with this drum set.

My 8-year-old son asked Santa for a drum set for Christmas, AT THE LAST MINUTE! We decided we couldn't do a full drum kit, especially considering his attention span is basically non-existent. Lol. So, we got him this as a good substitute. If he shows any actual skill, we may later consider a full kit. For now, this is great! He loves it and loves showing it off to everyone who comes over. I personally wish he preferred something a little less noisy, but at least he's having fun with it. Lol.

This thing is awesome! My kids are obsessed. The sound is so good. The up and down volume is great. Pop on headphones and you are the only one that can hear your pounding. It works so well and is portable. My whole extended family had to take a turn. Good quality. Comes with bag to carry it.

The sound quality is great and the pads are very responsive. They've been having a lot of fun playing it and practicing for drumming skills. The built-in speaker is also great for playing along with music. The drum pedals are a bit flimsy, but for the price, I think it's a great value. I would definitely recommend this drum set for anyone looking for a budget friendly drum set.

The media could not be loaded.  I LOVE my drumpad! I waited for it to go on sale and it's brought me so much joy! The foot pedal is distorted (on mine) but I've seen people post this review and mention it to the company and they sent a new pedal. I'd like if I could get a new one, but that's maybe just how it sounds..?. if it's not turned down at least 5 notches I get a very unpleasant sounding pedal drum (I'm a beginner so I don't know the proper name for it) it just sounds distorted. It could be my pedal but despite that, I would 100% buy it again for the 65 bucks...I waited till the price dropped, now that I know how much I love it, I'd buy it again in a heart BEAT 😉Papers, if you're reading this, can I get a new pedal for the bass drum? Recommend for all ages.

One happy kiddo and I was really happy with the quality for the price. Easy to travel, simple no hassle set up.
