Bought for 11 yr old for Christmas. Heoriginally wanted a “real “ drum set , but the kids affordable sets were waaay too small . The step up sets (adult) were way to expensive. This drum mat was terrific. He loved it! And can order headphones! It can be placed anywhere.

Really great little drum set. It is definitely table-top size. I would venture to say it would just barely comfortably fit on a student’s desk without falling off th me sides, but just barely. The settings on it are fantastic, giving all kinds of different drum sounds to play around with. My five-year-old son has been interested in drums, but I have another baby coming, and drums are LOUD. Not so with these! Because the makers thought of that and installed a volume control that goes from loud enough to hear across the house to quiet enough to play in the same room as other people without annoying them. When my son wants to play me a concert, he cranks up the volume, turns on one of the many demos, and goes wild beating the drums. A metronome is also built into the set, so as he ages and starts to show more interest in the technical aspects of music, the metronome will be an asset. As a music major and teacher myself, I am very pleased with this set. It covers the basics without breaking the bank or my eardrums. My only complaint is that it does not plug into the wall without an adaptor. I use the end of my iPhone charger to plug in the drums, but it’s kind of a pain to switch between a charger and a drum set. Otherwise the product itself is well worth purchasing, especially for kids showing an interest in percussion.

I’m a music teacher and this was great for the price. As many school music teachers we need to be a jack of all trades. I wanted something small at home to work on brushing up on drum set. This actually works! Now if you want a true drum set but one for a lot more money. But this works and I can play a long with tons of drumbeat tutorials. The biggest differences to me between this an actual drum set are everything is very close together because of size and a plus with this is you can plug in headphones!

This drum set has become the most fun thing ever for my whole family. It’s so easy to use and it sounds like real live drums. There are different types of drum kits which is awesome. I have a 1 year old, who loves the set!!! And a 5 and 10 year old. Even my husband and I want “our turn” on the drums Hahahaha! They even come with pedals you can connect. Any drum stick or even your fingers, or if you’re a baby, your baby foot lol, works and creates an excellent quality sound. You can plug in head phones or turn down the volume. Such an easy instrument to play. The demo beats are really catchy too. There’s even a click, which helps you learn to stay on beat. My family and I just love this drum set. I ordered more drum stick sets too!!! The wooden ones they come with are ok. If you’re looking for something easy to play and entertaining, this is your chance.

Drum set was a Christmas gift for my musically inclined 3 year old grandson and he loved it! Sound is clear, size of set is not overpowering , engaging color and most of all easy to use. Thank you!

They sound great, compact and awesome for my beginner 8yo drummer. Grateful it doesn’t take buying a full kit to see if he will stick with it. Would buy again.

My son asked for a new bigger set of drums for his birthday. I didn’t want to put out the money for a bigger set so I found this. I read the reviews and I got exactly what I wanted. He plays this more than he does his old set. It sounds great and you can use headphones if need be which is a HUGE bonus!!! This is perfect until he can get his bigger real set of drums! I would recommend.
