I use it to find my keys because I am a bit disorganized and my keys pop up at random places in my apartment. I'd say 90% of the time it works fine when I use the app on my phone to find my keys. You can also reverse it and find your phone by pressing the button on your Tile twice. Oddly, sometimes it wasn't able to locate the Tile's location despite being in the same room or even next to me! (No 5 star) This is rare but has to be noted. Overall it saved me a lot of time and is worth the money if you have the tendency to misplace keys (or whatever you want to attach it to).

I purchased this Tile with replaceable battery on December 5, 2018. Today, I noticed that it was not recognized any longer in my Tile App. I believe that the battery has died. I had bought a Tile in August 2018 which was the non-replaceable battery Tile and that one is still going strong! I contacted Amazon and they won't help me replace the Tile. I'll try to contact Tile now, but I believe I have to pay for shipping to send back even if this is under the 1-year warranty - not good! EDIT: I contacted Tile Support. With proof of purchase, they will send me a replacement Tile. Good customer service. So 1 star for the actual product failing, but 4 stars for the good service to correct the issue.

I bought this for my husband two months ago. Omg what a life saver. I no longer have to help him find his phone, keys or wallet. It's amazing. Only once when looking for his keys was it out of range - I said then maybe your keys aren't in the house. Sure enough, he'd left them in his truck. And one other time he couldn't find his wallet because the slim wallet tile is VERY quiet and he's a little hard of hearing. Turns out his wallet was in the basement and I could only hear the ringing/chime from the top of the stairs with the door open. Other than that, this product is a must have for people who lose their stuff on a daily basis. AND if you press on a tile, it will ring your phone if you lost that too!

With onset of old-age comes deterioration of synaptic functioning. This includes a lot of "senior moments." Thank goodness for Tile. I've been using Tile from its inception and have only two words to say LOVE IT. One of the best features is the replaceable battery, which was previously not a thing. Although this a set of one of the older models, they still work the same. I keep a slim in my wallet and the standard tiles on my, expensive as all get out to replace, car keys. What can I say? When the memory fails, it's Tile to the rescue! Now if only they would come out with one small enough to attach to my glasses.

Brought this for my dad who's a little forgetful lately. Hes new to cell phone and not very techy. We attached one to his set of keys and placed one in his wallet. Downloaded the app on his phone, synced the 2 tiles, followed easy set up instructions and I think he likes it. It's easy to use. (It plays a melody when you want to find the assigned item..wish the ring is louder, the one in his wallet rings low because it's inside his wallet). Also a plus, if you push the button on the tile, your phone will ring. Just make sure bluetooth and location are on for the devices to work. It doesn't come with an attachment/a ring for you to attach the tile to the item. But we are happy with this purchase.

I bought this during the Deal of the Day special. I decided on the 2018 Mate. I wanted to purchase the cheapest version possible. But I am pleasantly surprised as this product is just what I needed. I use a medical device to control my insulin pump. I wanted something to be able to find it quickly around the house. I also am likely to lose my keys as well as my phone. I love that I have the ability to find my phone with one of the tiles. Although I’ve just started I feel Tile is exactly what I needed. Read other reviews to see if it’s right for you. I don’t expect to need to find any of my products anywhere outside of my home. I also will not be purchasing the Premium service.

I've gone through a lot of Tiles. I use them on my cat's collar, so some of them get lost. One of the Tile Mates in this order died after just 3 months. That's the fastest I've ever seen one go out. I still think that Tiles are an overall good deal. They aren't 100% reliable, and some work better than others (I think this may have to do with the years they're made), but they're comparatively cheap and they do work pretty well, usually for at least 6 months. I may be able to change the battery in this one. Either way, I'm overall happy with the purchase. The Tile Slims are working great, no battery issues.

In just a couple of months, I have used the tiles at least weekly to locate my keys when I have my phone and to locate my phone when I can only find my keys. I have a tile with my work keys, with my house/car keys, and same for my partner. We can locate whichever set we've misplaced easily from either of our phones. The tiles have significantly reduced the amount of time I spend digging through my purse or searching under my carseat when something drops through the cracks. The only issues I've had are (1) when I didn't realize bluetooth was off so I didn't have the most recent key location (user error), and (2) since we have 2 phones linked to the key tiles, the key tiles may ring the wrong phone--I think the closest one. This is a great tool for anybody with inattentive ADD, memory issues, or simply inconsistent with placement of items. I'm looking forward to purchasing some of the slimmer versions now that I know how well they work.

So, I know the stated purpose of tile and it’s not for your pets. That said, I purchased a four pack; two dogs and two cats. The ones I bought are a bit big for my small cats/collars, but look fine on my dogs collars (pit mix and Doberman). This does not act as a GPS in a traditional sense but will show you when you’re near and can ring the tile to find out if your cat is inside the house or outside. If the animal gets away, this can provide a “hotter/colder” type of manner to find them. Rings fill green if you approach the tile. I have also found that it is excellent for stopping my Doberman dead in her tracks while barking at squirrels etc in the middle of the night and morning. Don’t have to get out of bed, it isn’t harmful/painful to her like a shock collar and I just hit “Find Jet” and it breaks her concentration from what she’s barking at. I feel a little more secure knowing my animals have these on.

I put it on my dog in case I need to try and track her down at any point. The distance is not as advertised. I had just two walls in between us and about 30 feet away and the bluetooth did not pick up. I expected a big more. I figured I would be able to ping her anywhere in my house from any other point in my house as I do not live in some grand home. I expect if I have to track her down in the woods, though, I will have better luck. There also seem to be other features in the app that would allow me to seek help from other users, so perhaps I will get my money out of this device. I hope I never do, but it's nice to have it on her collar.
