I like the display, easy read. Unit is easy to operate. Easy to use especially when testing soil in locations that you don't have to bend over. Would be VERY handy if the display would fold backwards. The display can be difficult to read when testing at ground level. I have bifocal glasses and I have to get on my hands and knees to read the display when testing at ground level.

This meter is incredibly simple to use and appears to be quite accurate. However, the data screen is very hard to read unless you are at the proper angle, which is very difficult to do when it is inserted in the ground - we have to nearly lay on the ground to get our eyes down to the proper angle. It would be nice if the head rotated back, or if the readings could be locked to allow reading them on the screen after pulling the probe out of the ground.

When I received the Meter, I put batteries in, took of the red cap and tried to turn it on. Nothing. I replaced the batteries and again tried to turn it on. Nothing. So I did an Amazon return. I got my second one the next day (gotta love Amazon!) and again put new batteries in, took of the red cap and turned it on. NOTHING HAPPENED! So my husband took a look. He tried pushing both buttons at the same time and it worked! Then I tried to turn it off and HELD the On button for a few seconds and it turned off. So... I am thinking the ON button just needs to be held down a few seconds for it to kick in. Anyway... once I got it working, I am very pleased! I specifically got it to test the PH of my houseplants and it seems to do a good job with the levels. All my plants are a bit different, some lower than others, so I feel it is doing a good job measuring.

I use this with my worm farm.

This seems to work very well. All the information I want in one device. My only criticism is that when, using in a hanging planter, the angle of the screen can be sometimes very difficult to read.

I use this product for my flowers and plants and trees. It is easy to use and read.I am in Yuma Arizona so it helps to judge watering times. Happy with this product.

The Citrus tree tester is a fast reader and accurately measures soil temperature, pH, sunlight, and moisture. However, it lacks a hold button, and switching between modes can be a little tedious. Good for indoor plants. Despite minor issues, the tester's simplicity and accuracy make it a valuable gardening tool.

Does exactly what it needs to: tell me soil temperature, pH, sunlight level, and moisture. It doesn't have a memory/hold button so you do have to read it where it sits. A switch on the back changes it from Light/Temp/Moisture mode to pH, which is a little annoying since the pH value only takes up the Temp's screen space; I wish it showed sunlight and moisture on both modes (or that the screen was half an inch taller so the switch was unnecessary).

You should read someone else review. Someone who actually compared the meter readings with test strips.Me, yeah, it seems the lawn pH readings are a bit all over the place... grass is mostly the same color and vigor, but hey, I'm just a guy arbitrarily sticking a steel tube in the lawn. Still, somehow I decided that I don't need to lime the lawn. So, good job meter.

I liked the amount of data available, much more than others I have used in the past. One change I would like to see is a delay in clearing the data after you remove the prod from the soil. If the tester is in a location that is difficult to read it would be great to have a delay of about 5-10 seconds so you could read it after it is removed.
