Stick flicks back and reverse inputs.

Controller feels fine overall. My only issue is when using the analog stick, especially for a game like Smash Ultimate, when trying to turn around by pressing the stick left or right... LETTING GO of the stick doesn't make it go back to a neutral state, but instead inputs the opposite direction. It's very irritating.

Warning: I got a dud.

So, I ordered this a while ago. It's a great controller, and I thought it'd be perfect for Smash Bros and other games I enjoy. I already have standard Gamecube controllers and adapters for them, so I thought "Hey, a modern upgrade; neat!" It... Wasn't quite so good. For one, the triggers aren't analogue, like the original, which is fine; the Switch controllers normally aren't analogue, anyway, but for use outside of a Nintendo Switch, say, on a computer with a game that has analogue trigger compatibility... Yeah, it can be a bit of a bummer. It does feel good to hold, and they finally increased the size of the Directional Pad and Control Stick on the right, which is greatly appreciated, and the sticks were so snappy! If you got a controller that was top-grade in manufacturing... It'd feel great! However, I did mention "IF" it was top-grade manufacturing... Mine has a fatal flaw that makes every game practically unplayable. The joystick on the left always inputs to the left. It's not leaning that way; I cleaned it, looked up a tutorial on how to do it from a good source, took it apart... Nothing looked wrong, to me. It just had a constant input to the left, which... For side-scrollers, 3D games, basically anything, is bad. Very, very bad. It's poor manufacturing and hopefully is either a one-off deal or I just got a fluke... I understand manufacturing in 2020 is hard with CoViD-19, I really do... But I ordered this product last year when there wasn't a pandemic, and CoViD started being a problem in November, anyway, if I'm not mistaken. So, the manufacturing for the controller is a big issue for anyone looking to buy it. If it's a dud, return it and get your money back, but manufacturing errors for the controller seem to be rare. Hopefully, I was one of the only ones with this problem, but I feel like it should be addressed with future builds of the PowerA GC controller.

It's Okay...

I used this for like two months before it started having drift. No clue how it happened, one moment I was playing a game online with friends, and the the next moment, my character was moving to the right without my input. Personally, it's a good controller, but the quality of it feels so cheap and light compared to an actual Gamecube controller.

Liked it until it stopped working

Started drifting after a couple months, making it unusable. Otherwise, I liked it while it lasted. The trigger buttons take some getting used to for smash, but I actually like the feel better than the regular ones once I got used to it.

solid controller minus stick drift

It's a great controller, but after a few months of light use the left analog stick starting squeaking like crazy and now drifts to the left. Kind of disappointing for a $60 controller.

Feels cheap and not great

The build of this thing is pretty flimsy, it won't break though. Not an accurate version of the GC contorller. something entirely new with the same shape
