Little difficult to put together , directions not accurate for steps. The pet likes very much.

The assembly was easy enough and I understand why some of the holes were not pre-drilled. Water proofing will be required and is probably best done prior to assembly. The stairs are not really ideal for dogs. Mine are fearful because there is no backing to each step. Deeper steps may help a little but a backing so their feet do not slip through would be much better. I will add a straight board behind the stairs and non-slip stair treads to see if that helps. Brody, the white dog loves to run up against the fence and jump at passing dogs. I will see how sturdy the house is once he jumps up top frantically trying to get on the other side of the fence. Zuli prefers the lower level but will lay comfortably on top if placed there. The picture shows Brody with all his hair and he looks too big for the top but when shaved he fits just as comfortably as Zuli. It is quite nice for the price and a covered patio.

Too small. The width printed didn't represent the actually width of rhe part my dog should fit in. It included the attached extremely narrow staircase.

Came with splintered edges, holes didnt all line up, cracked step, stain smelled bad, took quite sometime to sand it all down and make steps line up but i decorated and put a pet heating pad inside and our little old lady pup loves itHave to attach her little porch light yet

The small steps could possibly make the dog break a leg.

OK, so I like this house, I really do - but it's no masterpiece. The wood is really lightweight and you can tell the pieces are manufactured so quickly and carelessly because not everything lines up right. Putting the stairs together nearly broke me. You have to kind of will this thing into being "nice." It requires forcing things to line up, sanding and maybe even painting or staining it. I did a clear coat of polyurethane (a water based "safer" kind) to keep it from rotting outright. If you are somewhat handy, you can make this thing work. If you want something quick and painless, I'd get a plastic house.

Product OK but..... mine arrived with several problems. The pre-assembled wood sections were not secure. There were supposed to be holes drilled for the screws to go in. Not all were drilled. The screw placement and other features were not as shown in the picture. I had to pre-drill, purchase additional screws and use additional screws to secure everything properly. Not all that difficult, but extra headaches I did not anticipate. This is supposed to be for indoor & outdoor use. I really don't see this holding up well outdoors. I hope this helps others with their decision to purchase.

First, there were no instructions (there were instructions for some type of lighting fixture in the box). Two sizes of screws with no directions. Parts not labeled, but if you have put stuff together before you could wing it. Wood is not finished (lots of splitters). Only part of the screw holes were drilled. Use a power screwdriver to speed things up. Good price though.

I’ve ordered a house just like this one from a different manufacturer and it was more sturdy than this one. I had to add boards to firms up the sides to make it more sturdy. I also added insulation on the inside as there were big gaps in the slats that create the sides of the house. Not impressed with this house.

Seller gave us a partial refund since some of the predrilled holes had cracks in them. Nice but have gaps in the slats so not warm or for outdoors. We use it inside. It’s cute but after spending this much money and the assembly, my Yorkies don’t use it. Oh well.
