HORRIBLE! My family was excited to order this for our two chihuahuas, It took forever to come in the mail and after waiting so long to receive it (As soon as we got it) We immediately opened it to put up.The wood was extremely uneven, My son actually got a splinter from picking a piece of the wood upNot only was it uneven/level the prices would not fit together and the wool was split in sever different pieces. Despite all of this, The wood being spout was out biggest issue (It’s broken)We loved the reviews that we read before purchasing this and are extremely sad with our experience!

The media could not be loaded.  I saw the reviews and saw people say stuff about the stairs and how they needed to get a replacement for them, which I didn’t mind about. But once I got this product the boxing was already looking unsecured. When I started to assemble it the instructions were very frustrating to understand. Then when I got to the bottom piece it was very confusing of how to screw it into the walls and it collapsed on me. The floor piece BREAKS and it is now unusable.. I would really love my money back... cause money don’t grow on trees.. and I’ve been saving for a dog house for my puppy..

Product had pieces that were broke and glued together coming straight out of the box. The wood is flimsy and several pieces split while screwing it together. It's not for the "outdoor" as suggested. The slats have spacing in between them. If you buy it for outdoor use, you will have to make a lot of modifications. The only thing this has going for it is that it's cute. I don't expect it to last long.

This is a revised review as I moved it and the top came apart. The wood isn't very thick. I will not be moving this around much. It is cute. However, this is more like for toy dogs. I have 7 & 8 pound pups and I wouldn't think of anything more than that. (not together) It reminds me of a child's doll bed. It came with the exact number of screws, a split piece of wood, and repairs needed to be made. Very easy to put together. You get what you pay for. It's a cheap price really, but now I'd of rather spent more. I had high hopes until I moved it! I wouldn't buy it again. I wish the mfg charged $10-20 more and gave you better wood! Then I'd give it a 5/5!

Received cracked and broken. Seller did finally refund purchase price in full after I sent photos of the damaged product I received. Had it not been damaged - I still would not recommend this pet house. Pieces are uneven and poorly cut so they do not line up correctly - looks more like scrap material. The "wood" is like sandpaper, very dry and brittle, water stained and even smelled moldy - also has knots and cracks all over it so this is not something you could use for an outdoor kitty shelter. The material is so smelly & rough there is no way I would let my cats use this without disinfecting, sanding and painting it first. I can buy one that is painted for less than $20 more so it certainly would not be worth all the effort to make this one safe / usable.

The pictures looked great & a lot of the reviews were good too. But when I tried putting it together it just didn't work. The wood is cheap and fragile - splits & cracks as I tried to screw everything together, as per instructions. The wood is incredibly brittle. The walls are made of slats and aren't solid: the slats aren't nailed to anything so they move around which means there's no insulation or a solid wall/ceiling; you may as well not have a dog house at all; the weather would get right in since it's super drafty. Rain would have no issues getting through. It was wobbly and didn't stay together well at all. I tried to reinforce some of the joints but the wood just cracks.Save your self some $$ and buy a nice plastic house that's solid. Am returning it.
