It was sturdy, I was trying to use it to weed my flower garden. It didn't work as well as I thought it would but it was okay.

It works good on large weeds like the plantains that have big roots but for small weeds I found it difficult to crab. It made large holes for the small weeds. It great that you don't have to bend but I still find myself bending to pick up the weed. It does seem very sturdy. Don't want to bad mouth it since some people liked it but I am still using my little weeder for for little weeds because I don't want to make large holes in my grass. Also it took a long time to get here because they all seem to be shipped from China. I love all kinds of tools because I am an avid gardner so its just another tool in the shed and I have many.

I really enjoyed using this weeder for the 3 weeks before the handle snapped off at the base. Easy to use and effective on lots of different weeds. When it broke, I wrote to the company per their warranty instructions, attached a photo and asked for a replacement. That was over a week ago and so far no response. I am very disappointed in an otherwise helpful tool.

Worked like a charm, until the handle broke after a few weeks

Pulling long tap roots out of the garden split the bamboo down near the screw I’m going with an ash handle for it

I got this go to help with a variety of weeds and although some are going to work I found it worked the best on dandelions. So, if you are struggling with those this will work fine for you.

I don't use it every day, not even every week and it broke, the wood is not strong

I really wanted this to be a weeding problem solver but if bending over is the issue, then this isn't the solution. The tool helps you pull the weed very well, it's very effective--but it leaves a gaping hole in the ground. So you're still bending over to fill the hole. My wife made the point that this took might be good if you're pulling weeds in an old lawn or a field but for our new lawn, not so good. For me a better solution is to use a standard weeding fork and attach it to an old broomstick or some something. I did this and it worked as well as Grampa's tool and left the soil alone. As a result, I'm returning it because it's actually kind of expensive for something that a Target garden section weeding fork (on a pole) can help you do for $6.

Maybe it’s not built for our intense NC weeds we have, but I was not impressed. Really only seemed to work on weeds that had shallow roots and a large clumpy middle…. Wasn’t really that impressed for the price.

The length was fine and the quality was OK. But it just did not work in getting the dandelion roots. The roots of these plants are long and break, so with this gadget, the tops are gone, but they will grow back. I don't want to spray something that will kill the bees, but in my opinion, the prongs that go into the ground needs to be a little longer.
