It was doing great until the tool fell off of the handle. About 45 mins of use out of it and it fell apart. I’d hope I got a defective one. If this was my grandpas weeder, he’d be pissed.

This product is very sturdy. Well made and does work on big thick stemmed weeds. Unfortunately if you have little thin stemmed weeds like I have in my yard this product is kind of useless 😕. I had high hopes but looks like it's going back

I get the root about 10% of the time. The other 90% I get on my knees with my traditional $7 weed tool and get to work as usual. I tried. I really tried but this thing is useless to me. Missed the return date so it goes on the sidewalk with a "FREE" sign in front of it.

Doesn't work in rock, gravel, or dry soil well AT ALL. Pretty much useless in my yard, maybe if it were raining constantly it might be useful. In a garden with loose soil maybe also. Anything else, it is useless.

I thought this would be better than the Weed Popper, but it seems a bit worse. Not worth the high price. I’ll probably never use it.

This tool worked like a charm as the we were pulling weeds at the end of spring. It's extremely easy to use and even my 10yr daughter was enjoying pulling weeds with it. I was using it to pull out a tricky thistle when the fork broke off and exposed a pretty large metal grain.

I got a lot more of the taproot out of the ground pulling the weeds by hand than using this tool. This tool shredded the root, not leaving enough structure to pull any of it out. I don’t recommend. If I could get it to work it would be less stress to my back, but the forks going into the ground are not long enough to get the tap root.

Not impressed with the weeder. It is easy to use, comfortable in your hand and seems sturdy. However, none of those things matter if it doesn't get the root out. I wish I had passed. Does not get the root out on dandelions, which is what I purchased it to do. Wish I could return it.

I was really excited when I first received this 2 days ago. I used this tool to pull up a few weeds in the backyard, which it did with relative ease. When I went to pull up a few more weeds today, I noticed the foot pedal was a little bendy, and sure enough after only 3 weeds on this second day, the foot pedal snapped off. Not sure if it was just cheap metal or what, but I'm now on the hunt for another manual weed puller after this one failed.

It works as advertised however it broke after a few months of occasional use because the handle broke. The handle broke where the shaft meets the metal part of the tool which is not an unusual complaint here. They do not sell a replacement handle so you got to buy the tool all over again.
