This thing works well for weeds with shallow roots. Anything deeper, you’ll have to use a hand weeder. Also, it isn’t practical for getting close to plants without uprooting them. It’s just OK, but I’m not impressed for the high price.

I wasn’t impressed by this tool. Was excited to not have to bend over to pick weeds. But I had to maneuver this so much it took more time than just getting down and doing it by hand.

Loved it up until the point of failure lol. I didn’t put much pressure on it while pulling a small weed and then I heard the sound of cracking wood. I wish the build quality would have been better

My neighbor got one of these and loved it so we got one. Ours came used as photo shows. Hers wasn’t tie wrapped on cardboard as ours was. And ours is muddy and dirty. Obviously used. Too big to send back so husband decided to try it anyhow. It just doesn’t seem as sturdy as hers or work as good. Very disappointed.

This product works great, when it's fully attached. After a month of use, the bamboo broke, even after I watered the area.

This tool was useful in areas I've already improved (taken rocks out and added compost to). However, my most pernicious weeds are in the unimproved areas. The deep-rooted weeds that wrap around fist-sized rocks and push through compacted soil were more than a match for this tool.

Bought cause I saw it on facebook. Looked easy enough to use, but it actually takes some time to line ut up with the root and stuff. Wooden handle feels a little flismy to me. Saves the back a little, but not as fast as pulling by hand

Was excited to get rid of my weeds then I pushed it into the ground and nothing so I pushed harder and nothing so I tried to twist it around the weed a little something but not easy. So I tried the part you step on and scrapped it across the weeds it did pull them up. To sum it up if you live were you have hard ground don't buy it.

It’s decent and easy to use but it’s good for one or two types of weed with that big center cluster and broadleaf

The build quality is superb. However, the puller (in our Washington State soil) pulls large plugs of dirt out, and doesn't get the entire weed, it breaks at the base of the root. Weeds will grow back very quickly with any bit of root left behind.
