Works great on larger weeds. CONS: Cant pull smaller weeds Tends to break root off in harder soil Have to clean it every pull or it packs full of dirt Small puller on end of lever arm is not very useful PROS: Makes pulling larger weeds a joy Great leverage Built to last for generations I would like to see them offer a mini-sized hand tool version for smaller weeds!

The stick seems like it is on the verge of breaking as you bend it to pull up a weed. I backed off several times out of the fear of it breaking. The fingers that grab the weed are smooth. I think if there were some ridges in them there would be less of a tendency for the weed to slip out.

Does not work well in hard ground, best to water or wait for rain. Needs to be cleaned after each weed is pulled up. Does not do well with deep-rooted weeds. Sometimes hard to place it directly over the center of the weed, which is how it needs to be placed in order tom grab the weed, other wise you just pull up a few leaves. But it works very well on a stand-alone weed in soft ground.

This is a great tool to remove weeds and crab grass. The major issue is the connection to the handle. The screw which secures the head comes loose from time to time and requires some adjusting. I may also need to use some form of glue to secure further but overall I was happy with the product.

This is a great tool, simple design, easy to use. I did not give it 5 stars because it did not suit the most important need I have for ordering it and using it. I need to weed in between bricks in a brick walkway and the tool is too heavy gauged to fit between the bricks.

The concept is nice, but the handle is made of a very light wood. Like brittle light! One must be very careful when trying to remove large weeds as the lever can snap! My 3rd time using it and I even waited till it rained I was going to cut the stick down where it broke but even then it’s tapered so you can’t just stuff the stick back in the hole. Requires something like a large pencil sharpener. (EDIT) Ace Hardware sells replacement sticks. Much more durable for cheap! I really do love this thing and there are no more dandelions in my yard!!

Doesn’t go deep enough to pull the whole root. Instead breaks them in half. Sturdy enough.

It's a decent tool but requires some practice.

This is a great tool for areas where the ground is soft, but AZ has hard ground and it takes too much force to get the weed out.

Too expensive for its usage and applicability!
