Like this tool a lot! Beats the heck out of bending and stooping to pull weeds, mostly only useful on larger, clumping weeds. Only works well on very dry soil, otherwise it gets clumped with dirt and mud and is a pain to clear out before the next weed pull. Overall a well built sturdy product if used in the right conditions.

I like that it's easy to use and pulls the weed with the roots intact. The tool itself feels strong and sturdy. I'm sending it back because I need one that has a release handle where the weed falls into a container once you've gotten it out of the ground. The release handle would limit or eliminate the need to constantly bend over, which is what I dislike the most.

If I didn’t have bark or rocks around my weeds, this would be awesome. Works great in just dirt. Unfortunately I have to move all the bark in order to use this tool.

I don’t know what to think, what comes to mind is it must be a copy of a traditional all American tool that was copied by using pot-metal. It’s a good copy will it hold up to pulling pigweed I don’t know? For sure the handle comes in two pieces and it’s much to short to leverage a full size pig weed? The sleeve for the two pegs much to week . Could not resolve the issues due to lack of seller communication???

It essentially gets the job done. My two biggest problems with it are 1) the wooden handle bends a lot when you use it to the point that I’m sure it will eventually snap after extended use. 2) the claw is kind of small so pulling out large clumps of crab grass takes a few tries. Better than pulling by hand and works great for small weeds.

The video looks awesome! Learning how to use it - not so awesome. It isn't pulling the weeds out like the video shows.

Good tool but not for brick patios or pavers. I bought this specifically for my brck patio and it does not fit!

The videos I had watched about these tools showed it going into the ground about 4-5 inches. This actually is only about 2.5 inches, so it really doesn't dig down underground very far to really get a hold of the root. It tends to break off at that 2.5 inch mark, leaving a lot of root behind that will just grow back. Haven't tried it on thistle yet, too early. But my husband is back to just a trowel to dig them up, but that gets hard on his back. A bit disappointed.

I found the tool useful only at times. rocks, mulch and sticks constantly get wedged on the prongs which makes me have to get things by hand. perhaps it might be user error, but more often than none, the weed gets pull half way making me bend down to finish pulling. I will continue using the tool. maybe I'll get better at it, and if I do, I will update the review.
