This thing takes precision - meaning, you have to be right on top of a root to get it, so if you have a ton of weeds and crabgrass like I did and still do, this tool in itself will take forever to get the job done. Not to mention, it’s not built very strong. The part of the wooden bar already snapped nearly in half after 2 hours of the first time ever using it. Not happy! There’s got to be better weed pulling tools out there other than our hands and this junk! Oh and if you have any mulch in your yard of weeds, prepare for that to get stuck in the metal clasps too; making it hard to get out. The concept of it seemed good, but it just isn’t cutting it for me!

Just didn't seem to remove weeds and roots as stated. Will be returning.

Good idea but I still need to bend over to pick up the pulled weed. Should have a release button so I can expel the weed into trash bucket.

Dandelions? You are all set. Anything else with any kind of root on it, forget about it. Not terrible not great.

Blades are not sharp and do not penetrate soil enough to engage mechanism. Not at all useful unless soil is totally loose

It worked on the dandelions I tried it on but not the rest of my yard which is full of rocks. I was hoping it would work for me.

I have been trying over and over to use this and it doesn’t seem to work :(. I can’t get the roots out.

The tool description talks about the history of the product and implies it is made in the USA but it took 2 weeks to receive as it was shipped directly from China. Also, the handle was NOT long as shown in the picture, it is a short, 2-pc design connected together with a coupler, about 42 inches total. I haven't used it long enough but since it is necessary to put leverage on the handle to pull the weeds I feel it will eventually fail. I gave it 2 stars because overall the metal weed puller is well designed and works well particularly for large weeds as described. I'm more disappointed with the manufacturing deception and the handle which I will likely need to replace when the 2-pc design fails.

I could never get it to really pick up the weed. I would dig and dig, and when I pulled it up, the weed did not come with it. So then I would have to lean over and pick up the weed. A regular hoe does just as good of a job.

If u hand anything solid like a hard root or rock you are screwed.... only meant for plain soul no rocks or sticks ect.
