I just added a new master bath and used a professional plumber and he was not able to install. The bottom part of the drain pieces did not fit. It was like two different sizes. I even took the drain to the store to see if I could find another piece that would fit. I had to end up buying a new drain. Which cost me more money. Due to rain which delayed construction about the time I realized we could not use the drain I could not send back. Do not waste your time or more importantly your money.

We bought this drain because of the good reviews but the paint started peeling within a year of purchase. Its not even the cost of the drain that is the issue but the cost to have the shower floor ripped up to replace is ten times the cost of what we paid. Do yourself a favor and buy from a known company that will hold up, save you money and headache in the long run.

NOT PVC AS LISTED - Flange is ABS. I bought since it said PVC and thats what I needed, the PVC primer dissolved and damaged the ABS. Luckily I didnt have a leak in the house since I caught it being the wrong material.

Plumber tried to install for us and both he and my husband couldn't get the drain to seal properly. Unfortunately for me by the time we were able to install the drain it was too late to return it. Couldn't figure out to contact the seller. Could have just been an issue with the one we were sent. Overall I was happy with the sturdiness and look of the drain. Our plumber ended up just buying one from a local shop that I am not as happy with.

The shower drain cover is beautiful! There’s a clever little instrument where I can lift up the cover, and there is a tiny hair basket that can be removed and cleaned. That was a pleasant surprise. The price was outstanding. Addendum: after 6 weeks, rust has started in a corner. So disappointing. I guess I will order a spare for replacement because the window closed for return. The bathroom reno took a little longer than my grace period

This piece looks great, I was excited to put it in my new shower. I had the piece over a month before I got a plumber to my house who told Me we can’t use it because it’s plastic. Can’t return it because it’s been over a month. Better luck to other customers. Make sure Your pipes can accommodate plastic fittings

First off, the finish is trash. You can scratch the black off with a fingernail. That is worthy of the one star in itself. Additionally, having no threading for the piece that fits inside the flange means it can't easily be adjusted in height to meet the tile flooring of shower. It has to be glued into place perfectly. If you are doing a tiled floor, your tile guy will hate you if you buy this drain. I spent the extra money on a similar style Kohler black matte drain and the quality is lightyears beyond this item. Excellent finish, solid heavy part, and It also has the industry standard threading for the top.
