Not compatible with Schluter

It’s a nice looking drain. Unfortunately I couldn’t use it because it is not compatible with the Schluter shower pan & drain flange. Make sure you check it before your return window closes.

Nice Product

Almost Perfect product.. Only thing I didn't like is how the drain fits into the lower part.. Very lose.. Others I've used in the past came with a rubber gasket to hold it in place better and tighter.. Constructed like any other nice and strong and I feel it will last.. Its nice with the drain screen.. Only reason I have a 4 star is because how lose it sits in the bottom half.

Does not work well with Quick Pitch flooring kit

I liked the quality of the drain. However I did not realize that I would have a problem installing it after using a standard quick pitch flooring kit. The center hole for the connecting rods of the quick pitch is round and of course the drain itself is square. That mean when you put the drain on top of the sloped floor base, you will need about 1 inch of quick set to set your floor tile to make the drain level or below the tile. (see pic1) This is way too much thinset. I had to modify the floor by cutting a square the size of the drain out of the top of the floor and remove the thinset and top of the quick pitch pieces. Using a multitool to cut about 1/2 of the quick pitch out so there is still some integrity of the system was the best option. (see pic2). Be sure not to cut all the way through the quick pitch or you will cut your liner. Then I replaced the broken thinset and made and inset for the drain to recess into the floor. (see pic3)

Nice looking item

The installation instruction was not clear. The drain line did not have a O-ring seal as i Have seen in other similar drains which I think is a important feature.
