I like the size and shape of the design. It fits fine in my bathroom window, which is long & narrow. This was my PRIMARY reason for buying this fan. It’s 3 fan design works well and it has variable speeds via using one, two, or all three fans at once. Its also very quiet. However, the TEMPERATURE CONTROLS ARE A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME!! It took me three days to figure out that instead of pushing the control button 15 TIMES to turn it off! I simply UNPLUG IT! The temperature control is made to TURN ON WHEN ITS THE HOTTEST! Actually FORCING HOT AIR INTO THE ROOM! I unplug it when the temperature reaches the highest part of the day, when I ALWAYS SHUT ALL MY WINDOWS! I use it AFTER the temperature goes down to bring in the COOLER AIR! Thus rendering the temperature control TOTALLY USELESS!!!! They couldn’ve saved me money by simply having the button turn on the fan and controlling the speed. Otherwise it’s a nice fan.

Been 4 days of use. Great fit to the tiny Bathroom window. I placed it vertical with the provided extender, snugs to the window frame without having to worry about falls. Low noise fan which at times needs a timer to switch off otherwise it keeps running till your next visit. Bathroom doesn't fog at all, so for me its like at least 30% drop. I dont think temp control works when it works as exhaust, which would have eliminated auto switch off problem. Overall it is a Best Buy at an economical price.

We have it in a room facing north, and during the day when it gets hot here in NYC it cools the room to maybe 84 when the outside temperature is 90 or above, it certainly will not cool down a house. As far as window fans are concerned it is one of the better, I do not like the controls they give no information I would recommend it in certain circumstances

Real Cool

I bought a pair of these to go in the windows of our children's bedrooms. I like that they are narrow, so we can put a wooden rod in the window track and improve the security of the windows while they are open. A person would have to be very determined (and thin) to be able to get in through the amount of space this fan takes up. I like the way these fans extend to fit the whole height of our windows, and they are thin, so they sit right into the window tracks and don't have to be supported by anything else. (Now I just need to purchase some holdbacks for the curtains, to keep them out of the way of the airflow.) The fans are quiet as well. I don't see us using the thermostat feature, as I think we'll want them running all night, but it might come in handy when it starts to get cooler. I would have given them 5 stars if they were more powerful. Definitely not a ton of air velocity, but I think they'll be sufficient. I'm glad I spent a few extra bucks to get these since they fit the windows so perfectly, and I'm sure we'll be using them for years to come.

wish it had a cover to close it when not in use that would allow it to stay in place in window
