This is the best portable chess I've had. Others don't secure the pieces well and you wind up losing them. This is self contained and very sturdy. Well worth the price!

This portable chess board is awesome! Small and thin enough to easily fit in my purse, great for use at restaurants—you can always have a chessboard on hand! It’s about as big as a large cellphone, but extremely thin. Fantastic quality. Highly recommend!

I bought this as a gift for my son. He doesn’t use the board because of another portable chess game he has. However the pieces to this set are far more superior than the ones from the old portable chess game he has. In my opinion I think the chess board with this game is better than the one my son chooses to use to play chess on.
