Cannot trust the readings from this thermometer - it takes 3-5 scans to get a consistent number and even then, it is high.

This thermometer seemed to work fine when I first bought it but rapidly declined in its readings. It started giving wild, off the wall readings. Sometimes I’d test it on everyone in the house and it would say we all had the exact same temperature. I’d turn it off and try again but I couldn’t trust the results. This evening I tried it on my sick child and it read 107! Tried it again and it kept giving different readings anywhere from 102-106. That was the final straw. I wish I had spent my money on something that is actually accurate and not going to mess up something as important as a temperature reading.

I wish I would have kept the box to return this thermometer! This thing is terrible. I probably got a "decent" temperature read above 98 degrees 1 time. All other times it says 96-97ish. You have to place it in an exact spot on the forehead, according to the pics almost between the eyes, but the 1 decent read I got was a little up on my child. So maybe it depends a little on a person's unique anatomy? IDK.
