[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the fact that how this Braun forehead thermometer is designed. This is good for infants, children and adults too. The buttons on the instrument is very easy to use and measures temperature just in few seconds.This piece is provided with protective cap from not being damaged. It has power button and temperature button on the handle of the thermometer.Turn on thermometer and have to position it touching the skin at the center of the forehead, between the eyebrows. Then press the temperature button. There comes a beep with recorded temperature. It shows red if high fever, yellow if mild fever and green if normal. But not sure how accurate the temperature is, because it gives different results each and every time. Inconsistent readings are recorded. I checked the reading taken by this braun thermometer with the readings measured by other 2 thermometers which I have at home. The braun one is giving 2 degrees high temperature. It was showing my son has fever when he clearly doesn’t. I would say this is not the recommended one to read the body temperature.

I love that it lights up different colors and even makes different noises when the temperature is high, alerting you. However, it’s just not accurate. It can be 100.1 one minute and 98.5 the next. No consistency.

not accurate always gives different readings

Pros: reads quick, easy use. Cons: inaccurate and inconsistent readings. It measured my son at 106.7 in several readings in a row, we took him to the ER. They measured his at 99.8 there. So after that I tested it, it showed fevers on all my kids AND my arm.. then trying again in minute and it showed normal temps again on all, then again in a minute all have temps. It’s not helpful at all!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do not think this is a good thermometer. every time I use it me and my husband have the exact same temperature which doesn’t make sense because I have a resting temperature of like 97.5 and every time it would say we’re both like 99.8 or 100.1. I would not recommend this 

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes for this product, but I really don't think it's accurate. I love that it's more sanitary than an oral thermometer, but I took my temperature 4 times and each time it gave me a temp of under 98.6. The first time it told me that my temp was 94, and unless I'm hypothermic, I'm going to have to guess that that's not accurate. Also, the directions are a bit confusing. It says you have to press the thermometer button and hold to your forehead, but you need to make sure the thermometer is already against your forehead when you press the button, otherwise you'll get an error message. The screen has LED lights that will illuminate either green, yellow, or red depending on whether you have no fever, low fever, or a high fever. I can't speak to the accuracy of that because I haven't been able to try it while having a fever yet. I just don't know that I'd really trust this to give me an accurate reading.
