[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this thermometer in theory. It is comfortable to hold and easy to use. Results are delivered within seconds with the reading illuminated by a red, yellow or green light as a visual indicator of how to assess the numbers on the screen. The ease is most notable when taking my children's temperatures; what is typically an uncomfortable experience for them and a frustrating one for me is now drama free getting us back on the road to recovery sooner. There is even a sticker on the thermometer to convey the proper placement when taking one's temperature (on the forehead, between the eyebrows). However, the one lingering red flag is the inconsistency with the readings which makes me question the device's accuracy. I have followed all of the included temperature taking tips including allowing the thermometer to acclimate, cleaning the forehead, and positioning it properly. Yet there are still oscillations in the readouts from one minute to the next. While I trust this thermometer to put me within range of an accurate reading, I am unsure how confident I am in the result down to the decimal point.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found the thermometer a bit difficult to use. First you have to make sure it’s warmed up to the temperature of the room by leaving it out for at least 10 minutes. Then you want to get a baseline temperature reading for anyone that you want to use it on while they DO NOT have a fever. It would read my temperature around 96 and my kiddos at 97. But even with doing readings within a couple minutes of each other, it varied by over a degree, which is an issue when the temperature gets high. So if you just buy this in the store because you need a thermometer right away, it’s not going to work because you won’t know the base line temp. I tried to find a way to see if we could calibrate it and couldn’t find anything. We will just stick to our normal thermometer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For me, the thermometer worked perfectly. However, for my husband it was always inaccurate. For him, it would either read 94 or 101 when his temperature was normal. It’s easy to use and easy to read. It’s lightweight and comfortable in your hand. Without the accuracy, I don’t think I would recommend it.
