If you need this for anything thicker than a soft cookie dough, don't buy this. The entire body twisted and moved when I tried to make a simple dough on low speed.

I bought this stand mixer for my wife for Christmas last year, but the turning mechanism for the paddle stopped working several weeks ago. It worked well and was easy to use and clean, but it's very disappointing that it broke so soon--I would rate it 4 stars if it didn't break. I contacted the manufacturer, so hopefully we can resolve it.

I do not like the fact that the mixer shuts off and have to wait for reuse after so many hours! I am very disappointed and wish I never had bought it!
