[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So maybe I need to give it a couple more tries however I don't think that will fix the loudness of it. I was not expecting it to be so loud. Had issues with some of the pulp spilling out. Found it a little harder to clean than expected too. For the amount of fruit and veggies you have to buy and the work that goes into it i could just buy some fresh juice from the store.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited about this new juicer. I followed the instructions and turned the juicer on. The low power wasn't quite enough to juice my items so I turned it on high and just shot out and sprayed everywhere. I really wished this came with a cup and a lid that fit around the spout to prevent this. I like it enough I'm keeping it, and will figure out a way to cover the spout when I use it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking forward to using this juicer since I never had one. I took it apart to clean as instructions stated. It was quite difficult to release the bar to hold top in place and then to remove the metal juicer inside. I needed my husband’s strength to get this apart. Once cleaned, it was easy to put together. I only had carrots on hand to try in the juicer. The machine is very powerful and juiced multiple carrots in a short time. The juicer is noisy. I found carrots have little juice and more bulk. The juice came out the spout into the cup very nicely. The bulk was all over on the inside. I poured water in and used the cleaning cycle . I then took the juicer apart, much easier this time. I then needed to clean all the parts since so much bulk from the carrots. I am going to try oranges and other softer fruits and vegetables, and I feel the self cleaner will work much better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this juicer to make a fee different juices. It was very difficult to put back together after initially taking it apart to clean. Once I figured out how to do it once, I didn't forget again thankfully, but boy is that confusing getting that handle to go up. Turned out we had the top on backwards. I found that this juicer is extremely loud, and it couldn't juice a half of an apple. We tried a variety of sizes of apples and o found cutting the apple into 1/4ths was the best way to juice it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Juicer was easy to put together. I did read all the directions to make sure I put all the parts together properly. There weren’t that many pieces but I still had to figure out a few things. Directions were easy to read. The sharp part is pretty sharp so be careful. When using the juicer, it was super easy to work the machine. When cleaning the machine, the self cleaning ability doesn’t really clean the machine well. I took it all apart and hand washed it. The material doesn’t seem very sturdy and I didn’t want to throw it in the dishwasher. It’s A nice/easy to use juicer but definitely NOT self cleaning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Be forewarned, this juicer is a lot larger than your typical juicer. My previous juicer was a mainstay in my kitchen and utilized everyday. I had it sitting on my countertop of which didn’t take up too much counter space. This PowerXL Juicer Plus takes up nearly just as much l counter space, but it’s bulkier so to speak. The juicer is a lot taller in height also. I wanted a juicer that was designed with a larger feeder so I went with this machine. The extra larger feeder is amazing, but not at the expense of the juicer size. Unfortunately, the self clean function is a work in progress still. I still find myself having to take the blade fully apart in order to actually clean it. My worst critique with this juicer however is the noise. It’s incredibly loud and works better with the softer fruit/veggies. Harder produce grinds and creates vibrations like you wouldn’t believe. Definitely not as smooth as I’d hope for in a juicer.

Works for soft fruit but when you had something with a tougher skin it gets jammed and burns the motor.

Not quite as the demo illustrated. Food is not received in hopper as smoothly or quietly as shown… a a great deal of LOUD snapping and hopping about even with small pieces of designated food. The juicer also does not accept ALL of the foods on the list that came with the machine. I had to stop juicing quite often as I thought I would ruin the motor. Also, the Power XL has not proved to be self-cleaning as advertised. The cleaning blade buckled on the very first use and had to be reshaped as it was very twisted. Too much time is spent in cleaning the juicer to make it ready for the next use. Am losing interest fast.

It works. Cleaning is not fun the pulp goes everywhere. The pulp is super wet and you'll end up paying way more in fruits and vegetables. It shakes and it doesn't like lemons and limes (you must peel them first). I gave this away and invested in a Nama Juicer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very glad to have this juicer! It works best with softer, and more juicy fruits & veg than say, carrots, ginger or kale. It truly is easy to clean! However, I am not sure what qualifies this as ‘self-cleaning’. It wouldn’t feel safe to let this sit between juicing!! All in all? Great juicer for the beginner. I’m glad to have it on hand!! Would recommend for anyone interested more in fruit juicing w/minimal veggies.
