The product over all is excellent for protection and security. My biggest issue is I put it on my Lynksis WRT32X gaming router with uoad speds above 150 and the same with download speeds . When NORDVPN came online my speeds were 54 up and 53 down. I am paying a lot of money for my SPEED and by the way the LYNKSIS WRT 32X is a gaming router WTF. I chatted with tech support they they stated that becuse my router only had one processor it would slow down. He'll it slowed down my upload speed to my LG 40K android to 0 yes zero.

Although the product does provide anonymity while browsing online, it does not come without difficulty. There are numerous websites which block you completely when the VPN is enabled forcing you ton it off before you can proceed to the website you want to go to. I am unable to view the contact information on craigslist items while the VPN is enabled and I am unable to print to my network printer or access files on my other network computers when it is enabled. Bottom line is, if I enable it on 6 devices, none of them can talk to each other over the network and my ISP can still see and sell my browsing history during the times I am forced to disable the VPN to reach the sites Which I cannot view otherwise. Another problem that continues to occur, is that at times the VPN seems to loose all access to internet resources and has to be disabled and then enabled again to resolve the problem. In my opinion, this package should sell for about 50% of what I had to pay for it since it only works about 50% of the time.

I brought this software for a trip to China. Downloaded before I left and couldn't tell if it would work. When I arrived, the connection didn't work. After searching online on solutions, I got the PC version working, not the phones. Contacted customer service of NordVPN via chat, I was sent a "test" version of update and the connection worked. The customer service is quite good.

I haven't installed this software so I cannot give you a true evaluation of the product. However, when and if I do install this software I will come back and give a true evaluation of the software.

Installation was easy. There are a lot of nice features. It wors splendidly on the android platform. I have used VPNs before but I wanted to try Nord. I installed on 2 different later model computers- Windows 11. Both had issues. I contacted technical support. they responded quickly and were helpful. However after 3 rounds, I really lost my patience. VPN is to make my life easier. I really dont have anything to hide but I just like avoiding the ad trackers. So no more NordVPN for me. I did a trial of cyberghost - installed easily and worked perfectly.

I was going to buy just NordVPN but saw an ad on the Amazon NordVPN page to buy Bitdefender also. I trusted the ad and bought both products, but have sometimes had significant difficulties trying to run them both at the same time unless I turn on the physical internet access before I boot the computer.The products actually overlap: Bitdefender also has a VPN, and then apparently the VPNs struggle to take control of the port. And unfortunately there is no way to turn off Bitdefender's VPN, so Bitdefender is all or nothing. And NordVPN's write-up says that if you run NordVPN, you don't need anti-virus software, but I thought a VPN was only to monitor the data coming in and out and then to monitor, encrypt, and block it as needed. Whatever else NordVPN is doing sounds beneficial, except that there is more potential for conflict with Bitdefender.My impression is that the two products are in competition, with each trying to be a total solution, and preventing customers from using only individual components. Amazon, please don't post ads to buy NordVPN and Bitdefender together. Those ads might have been appropriate before Bitdefender added its VPN, but not anymore.I think that Amazon neeeds to just let sales of both produts occur naturally, with people choosing one or the other, and then appropriate and positive customer reviews will be written and posted for each product. My task at this point is to choose which one to keep and which one to de-install.
