Really easy to build and it looks cute in person. The only reason I am giving it two stars is because the head of the lamp is too heavy and won’t stay up like in the picture.

Not sure if I put it together wrong or what but after 6 months it wouldn’t stay up anymore and just hung low so I had to steady it against a wall. Ordering it again and hoping for better results this time

We loved this lamp! It is cute and functional and looks exactly like the picture! However after a few months it no longer works! We have tried everything (different outlets, light bulbs etc.) but we think something happened to the wiring and we won't be able to fix it. We are so disappointed!

Looks great at first, but if you put a heavy light bulb into the socket, over time (a few months), they lamp will lean forward. There is not enough tightening you can do to keep it upright again. Black zip tie may work, but I haven't tried it yet.

The description lists the cord as 10 ft, but that seems to include the portion of the cord that feeds into the lamp. So the real length of the cord from the outlet to the base of the lamp is closer to 4-5 feet.

Very disappointed in the quality. We love the look of this lamp, very modern and clean lines. However, the one we bought in store was defective. The first rod cannot be fully screwed onto the base. It screws halfway and gets stuck, leaving some of the silver part showing. I felt the inside of the first rod and it feels like there is an extra part that sticks out, which might be the reason it cannot be attached correctly. The other parts screw together fine, but I don't think it is safe to have the bottom rod half attached to the base. We will get an exchange and hope it works.

This lamp looks great in the photos but in real life it looks very cheaply made. Two minutes after assembly and it already has a slight lean forward that can't be fixed. I can't imagine what it would be like in two years. There is a knob at the elbow that evidently is supposed to loosen so that you can adjust the angle and then tighten again. I tightened it once and now it's stuck there and I can't adjust the angle. Again, only two minutes out of the box. I'm returning this. I was looking at a very similar styled but much more expensive lamp at another online store and thought I had really found a deal with this one. For 38 dollars what did I expect? You get what you pay for.

We got this lamp because it was so inexpensive. Within the first ten minutes of setting it up, the switch broke. An easy enough fix, we got a $5 replacement at the hardware store and swapped out the switch in about twenty minutes. After trying to pull the wire back through the pole (like you do in the initial set up), the wire snapped in two and now needs to be fixed. Another easy fix, but neither one shouldn't be necessary on a brand-new lamp. Two stars because it gave us something to do during COVID quarantine. Only get this lamp if you're bored and want to learn simple electrical repairs.

It looks good and the price is right, but unlike the classics it's modeled on, the head doesn't swivel in more than one direction - up. You'll have to mess with the arm and angle if down and low if you want the light pointing at what you're reading and not in your face.
