If your looking for something luminous then then this may not be the lamp for you. I love the modern/sleek design of the lamp. I think I will get a higher wattage bulb to see if it gets brighter. Otherwise it’s simple; not a living-room piece, this definitely belongs in a guest room or bedroom.

Its okay... it does serve as a great spot light lamp or a nice reading light lamp but to illuminate a whole room I do not recommend. if tighten correctly when assembling it will stand and hold its balance correctly. 4/5 for me

Looks great in the living room BUT the adjustment knob located at hinge refuses to cooperate. The internal gears are stripped from the lamp’s bulb area being too heavy and weighing it down. I replaced gears with something more rigid and that fixed the cheap plastic the manufacturer used.

So far so good - the counterweight portion is too lightweight (the part that does not have the bulb end); however, it’s also hollow, legit filled it with some sand from the dollar store for added weight... additionally, someone below mentioned unscrewing the adjustment knob and moving the wiring from above the know to below it, as that may be loosening the know slowly, so i did that as well. Will see how it holds up, so far it seems like a good spotlight.

This lamp works well for what I need. I haven’t had issues with it getting too hot and I leave it on all day (using it for a grow light for my house plants.) The brass color isn’t consistent, each piece was a slightly different hue. It’s not a dealbreaker for me as I’m not using it as a focal point, but if you’re the type to focus on that kind of thing I’d maybe reconsider.

Great lamp for the price! Bought for ou4 mid century modern nursery. Was surprised that this one seemed to have the best reviews overall even though it’s half the price of the others that are similar in style. Have only had it for a week, so not sure if we will have the issue with the cantilever wearing out over time and dropping like some others noted, but it was quick for my husband to put together and looks exactly how I thought. The only flaw is that the knob that holds the cantilever on came pretty scratched up, but it’s not noticeable unless you’re looking for it.

Easy to put together. Looks great in our space. Purchased in brass. The brass color is a little more yellow than I’d like, but it’s still a great piece for the price point.

Really lovely lamp at a great price. Looks great in the space I planned it for and was easy to put together. It’s sturdy and the gold finish is pretty. With the price I don’t expect perfection. There were a couple of things that I wish were different. The glue from the warning sticker in the lamp is hard to get off and looked dirty out of the box. There are also weird bumps on base of the lamp. Two small things for a sturdy lamp that I would buy again.

Looks modern and stylish but not expensive. Wish it was capable of dimming. During initial setup, I couldn’t get the lamp arm to stay up at all, but then we switched installation directions from left to right and could get it to stay up no problem.

Everything was great other than had a hard time tightening the screw for positioning the actual light
