After using for a month there are pros and cons. Pro, fairly easy to assemble and good for specific lighting area. Con, when moving it around by the base rod, the threading of the 3 pieces changes which only became apparent when it toppled over. Also, does not adjust up and down more than an inch at the elbow portion. Best if for one spot. I'm using it to bring light over my desk but need to move it out of my way often to walk by so would not buy again.

This lamp looks nice but over time has started to bend at the joint because there is no counterweight for the lampshade. I noticed this mentioned in a few other reviews, tried the sand trick but this just got sand everywhere. Spend the extra $10 or whatever on another lamp.

Looks great at first, but if you put a heavy light bulb into the socket, over time (a few months), they lamp will lean forward. There is not enough tightening you can do to keep it upright again. Black zip tie may work, but I haven't tried it yet.

I know this is a $40 lamp but it’s very poor quality. It should really be $25 max!! The finish isn’t great and there’s a lot of dings.

I loved it for a bit, but then the knob no longer holds it up.

the lamp was a great look, but the quality was compromised as the lampshade was scratched and the brass stem was varied in color from one part of the pole to another. Very Disappointed

The bottom isn't large enough or heavy enough to keep the lamp from easily toppling over. The lamp shade isn't strong enough to be adjusted upwards, it will always droop down.

The description lists the cord as 10 ft, but that seems to include the portion of the cord that feeds into the lamp. So the real length of the cord from the outlet to the base of the lamp is closer to 4-5 feet.

Cool looking lamp but uses slightly different colors of bronze/brass through out the pole. This is unclear from the pictures online and makes it look cheap. Mine also came very scratched like someone took sandpaper to it around the knob area.

Had it for a little over a year, and the cord completely ripped while trying to readjust
