Solid beautiful brass lamp. Made from quality materials and doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy. It is a directional lamp so don’t expect this lamp to light up the whole room. Perfect for adding light to a feature space or nook. At $32 it was a steal.

I purchased on about 3 years ago and I’m still in love, so much that I purchased another one! Very easy to assemble and the light is so bright!

This lamp looks MUCH more expensive than it actually is. I read the other reviews complaining about the arm not staying up unsupported, but decided to take a chance anyways. Well, it is indeed true: the arm will droop and cannot stay at the upmost position unsupported. BUT! There is a fix. (Forgive the unsophisticated terminology-- basically you just unscrew the adjustor knob and you'll see what you have to do.) Unscrew the knob all the way until it comes off. You will see the cord positioned in a way that hangs over the the the adjuster knob-- it is that pressure that is causing the arm to droop. Rearrange the cord so that it is positioned under the adjustor knob. Replace the knob, and BOOM. You can position the arm in the upmost position and it will remain there.

Sturdy, great color and the perfect size and price!

Such a wonderful task lamp! For 'filling a nook' with a welcoming glow I used a 40W Edison bulb and it is perfect for reading. The lamp is between my bed and my armchair and I can read from either space without adjustment. Assembly was a cinch! The cord is already connecting everything, all you have to do is screw it together. It may have literally taken me 1 minute. Although I have a tendency to go for the brass things, this time I picked the matte black, which I am quite pleased with. It really does look more expensive than just 40 bucks. As for the knob at the arm, I'm not going to adjust it at all if I can, as I suspect that may be where the affordability may show itself first... Anyhoo, I love the design. It is somehow sophisticated, minimal, and also cute! *I love lamp!*

This lamp looks super cute in the corner of my bedroom, and gives a little "reading nook" vibe. It was easy to assemble out of the box and the base is a great weight so you don't feel like it'll knock over easy. One small thing, it doesn't adjust the easiest, so if you plan on moving the arm a lot, it may get frustrating, if not, it stays still and the arm is stiff enough to not slowly fall down overtime!
