I bought this brand based on the recommendation of a Dr. The smart thing they did was make the cover removable and (machine?) washable. Besides the back support and saving my tailbone, I’d rather wear out a seat cushion than the seat of my desk chair. I’ve only had this about a week, but I already see that it’s not collapsing. So, it’s holding up real well.

Very comfortable, supportive cushion to take the discomfort out of sitting on hard chairs.

I bought a 'his and hers' and to my surprise BOTH my parents and in-laws liked it so much I gave it to them. I'll be purchasing another pair for us in the near future. Overall, good support for the money. I was impressed by the foam which I did not find too firm (when compressed) and I miss it for my computer chair. When you sit on it the pad distributes your weight across your entire rear end. There is less direct pressure focusing on your tailbone, your buttocks or lower back. The feeling is pretty immediate and I did not notice any hard spots or pinching from long sitting. For the money I find it hard NOT to own one for long computer use or driving. I never got to test it out driving but this would work for long drives as sitting on my chair or couch was super comfy with these pads.

I can't believe I can say this and still mean it in a serious way but this thing has saved my ***. My chair was free but it has a poor placement of stitching and a hard metal part where my tailbone sits on my chair. I've had a sore develop on that spot where my tailbone is and it's been there for over a year now. I went to the doctors and they said there is nothing they can do except recommend better padding. I stopped sitting at my chair for some time and it slowly got better but since I've been using my computer more often for work, it is now back and much worse. I decided to buy this padding to help relieve the painful sore. I'm so glad I got it because my sore is disappearing much faster than before and I feel much more comfortable, too. I suppose it's a cheaper way to convert a crappy chair into a nice comfortable one.

My teenage daughter fell a year ago and damaged her tailbone. It hasn't healed and sitting for any length of time results in extreme discomfort. This wonderful cushion, designed for just such a problem, allowed her to sit comfortably for a 5-hour car ride. Such a relief to know my child isn't in pain! Have back pain that makes it difficult to sit on terrible hard surfaces? Gonna be at a stadium and sitting on bleachers? Going to church and sitting on a wood pew? This is the pad for your seat to make it FAR more comfortable for you. It is not super soft. It has some give, naturally, but it's not like the kind of seat pad you would buy at a stadium. This is sturdy, and has the firmness needed to help alleviate true back pain. I actually put this in the trunk of my car so that I have it handy whenever I am somewhere are the seating simply just isn't comfortable.

I usually spend between 6 and 10 hours sitting. Was looking for the so called 8 hours chairs but they are crazy expensive. This cushion did the trick, my lower back doesn't get sore after 6 hours sitting. Good size for me, (man 5 feet 9 inches, 230 lbs.) previous cushion was a bit small for me.

I bought this for my brother who is disabled and suffers with several serious spinal issues. He says it has really helped align his back and has reduced some of the daily pain suffering. In his own words to me, "I was skeptical when you first told me about this and I when I saw it I didn't think it would work. But, I'm really impressed. My back hasn't been hurting as bad since I started using it." He's only had it a week, but I've never heard him say that his back isn't killing him all day, every day. He's only been using it for a week, but if he continues to rave about it, I plan to buy 1 or 2 more for the car and other seating in the house. It arrived promptly, in great condition and is well made. It has a zipper to take off the exterior cover for washing. It looks very durable. So far, it's great!

This is my 2nd cushion. I literally wore the first one out. I occasionally use a wheelchair and it fits perfectly, but I mainly use it for long car and plane rides. I recently used my original cushion on a 16 hour flight to Africa - and it was perfect! It is very portable and quite light weight for easy carrying. The one I just received has been updated with a non-slip backing. I'm not sure how I feel about that feature yet, but I'm sure that it will not detract from the comfort of the cushion.

I am 33 weeks pregnant and my back pain was getting unbearable. I could hardly get up from sitting and bed. I bought this because I had to travel from Florida to NY and back via car. I had to find something and after reading tons of reviews I decided on this cushion. After the first part of our trip (7 hours in the car non stop - I know big nono for pregnant lady) when I got up it was the first time in 3 months I wasn't in agonizing pain. The next day we arrived in PA to stop and visit family and I felt great. Chasing my 2 1/2 year old around unbaby proofed houses wasn't excruciating. I can't praise this little grey cushion enough. I'm sitting on it now writing this review enjoying the fact that when I stand up I won't feel like I'm going to break in half. It even slightly eased the pain of my pulled/stretched groin muscles.
