The water weights are sufficiently heavy and look good.

We used water. Love the versitility of 4 pieces so you can move the umbrella if needed. We have a 10 x 10 umbrella and this is great for light to medium wind. Well made and looks nice.

The umbrella stand works really well, but it takes up a lot if space.

This item works well with the cantilever umbrella I have, the only problem for me was the small diameter of the opening used to fill with sand, wished it would have been twice as big, was time consuming until I finally got them filled.
