First, this is a very nice set of base weights; however, they do take up a lot of patio/deck area because they are water/sand filled. If you have the space or need to be able to empty them this is a great set. If you have a need for smaller weights look at rubber coated metal/iron that are triangular instead of square.

Used with ABBA Umbrella and it worked as described ! Segments fit securely between legs and on the leg flanges . No problem at all . Filled mine with masonry sand purchased at Menards . (3 ) 50lb tubes of sand used to fill weights .

I'm not sure why the other reviewers had problems with this product, maybe they purchased a different umbrella than I did. The four pieces fit very easily in place to hold my Abba Patio 11 foot umbrella. The umbrella is very stable. The only issue was it took me several hours to load about 40 lbs of sand in each piece, just tedious not hard.

Makes a beautiful pattern around the umbrella. Filled with sand for extra support. Fits nicely around base of umbrella.
