The description said it is energy star certified but there is no indication of certification on the unit, the box or paperwork. The louvers are a soft rubber and do not stay up on their own. The filter is hard, at least when new I hope over time it absorbs water to cool more effectively. My old portable cooler had a porous filter that held water a little more as it went through it. For the price it's not bad.

Satisfactory not great needs a small bag of ice every 4 hours to cool a small room the ice packs that are included are too small for the unit fan speeds are average not great

Good product. Not exactly as advertised but delivers. Too noisy for me.
