Works as expected. Suction and pick up are better than my regular upright vacuum. I recommend setting it on a schedule when you’re away as it’s kind of loud and since it runs on its own pattern, it will take an hour plus to do an area that would take you 15 minutes with an upright. But overall we’re happy with the purchase

We had a dog and Ralph gets under bed and cleaned out the lingering fur! On its first run! Will help in the cleaning of our home on a twice weekly basis. It does bump into a lot of obstacles and have to figure out easier routes even though it always turns to the right.

One of the best purchases I made in a long time. My home mostly has tile and concrete floors with floor mats. I have a dog, cats, birds and messy hobbies. My schedule only allows for one move the furniture floor cleaning a week, only to get dust bunnies rolling down the hall an hour or two later. I programmed the roomba - cat teaser to vacuum at 5am. After its batteries charged for 8 hours, I set it off again. Hallway dust bunnies no longer appear. It handles pet hair, feathers, cobwebs, and mud tracked in from that garden with ease. I don't need to dust as often. The filters to my HVAC don't accumulate as much pet hair and cobwebs. The Roomba doesn't just pick up dirt, it also polishes the floor. I didn't know unfinished concrete could shine like that. A few caveats: pick up clutter, manage electrical and telecommunication chords, and watch out for sloped surfaces. The kitchen fan base will tip it over. It gets stuck behind the bathroom door. You still have to sweep out the corners and under surfaces that it can't go under.

LOW NOISE: Compared to a regular vacuum, it is pretty quite. It sounds more like an R/C car than a vacuum. APP: I don't use it with an app. I just hit the clean button. MEMORY: It does seem to get more efficient as navigating the house every time I send it out. HIGH CONTRAST AREAS: It has trouble with high contrast areas like black & white rugs. The cliff sensors tell it that it's a cliff and will not clean the areas with the darker color. I worked around this by scotch taping a 4x folded over bit of packing tape over the sensors on the bottom. The combination of reflected packing tape and hazy scotch tape do the trick. CLEANING: It does a fine job. Our small home has hardwood floors and area rugs. We have indoor cats. I send it out every other day or so and the small bin is always full. It's really nice to let this thing go about while I clean other areas of the home. The cliff sensor issue is why only 4 stars. It's a common complaint, yet there is no way to override it without tampering.

Love my Roomba! It does get stuck on my Persian rug sometimes, not sure if there's an adjustment I can make to fox that. And sometimes can' find the home base in time before the battery does. But as far as cleaning it does an fantastic job. I can't believe all the cat hair and dirt it finds around my house even with how clean I keep it.

It does a great job and I’m happy with the purchase. My only complaint is that it’s all scratched up after only using it twice. For the price, these vacuums should already have bumpers.

Really great after heavy traffic of the holidays.

They need to add some type of bumpers. I noticed that there are marks on the baseboards in my home where it rubs against it. Also, my son just built a new home and went with white baseboards and they also have scuff marks all around on the woodwork in every room. It needs a fix.

My husband bought me this Roomba as a Christmas gift. I had never even considered it before because we have both a medium-hair cat and a Rough Collie dog and I wasn't sure it would be able to handle the tumbleweeds of dog hair around our house. Thankfully, I was wrong! I run my Roomba 3 times a week (Mon, Wed, Fri) and it has not only increased the time between a full vacuuming, but it has decreased the amount of time that I have to spend on the rare occasions I have to do so. Our downstairs is so clean, you can't tell that we have a long-haired dog. I have only 2 complaints about the machine. First, it's difficult to clean the dog hair out of one of the brushes. Second, it has gotten hung up on objects a few times; once on the feet of a glider and once on a rug used to cover a grate. I tell all of my friends, especially those with pets, how much I love my Roomba and suggest that they look into getting one!

LOVE IT!! I have dark wood floors, 2 white shedding pups and a slight case of OCD. I don't have to do the vacuuming every day!! I just hit the clean button on the app from wherever I am. I love coming home from running errands or work and the floor is spotless!
