It cleans my apartment very well- it picks up hair and dirt that previous vacuums I've owned in the past left behind. My apartment is a mixture of hardwood and carpeted areas and it cleans both equally well. Very good at getting hair out of the carpet/rugs. The setup was a little difficult based on the instructions they gave in the box-it was super easy and efficient to setup once I just googled the instructions instead, there is a more detailed version online for how to connect the Roomba to WiFi and setup the app. The vacuum is a little loud but with the app you can set it to run when you are not home so its extremely convenient in that sense. It's easy to set up/change a weekly schedule in seconds. You can also open the app even if you are not home and just click "Clean" if you decide. The main pitfall is that it tends to get the same spots multiple times and then neglect other spots. You'll still need another small vacuum for places the Roomba can't reach/fit like next to your fridge or the toilet. It order to fully clean my apartment (which is not very big) it needs to run for at least an hour, however, with the app thats not an issue since it can run when I am not home. Make sure you have everything picked up off the floor if you set a schedule because if you leave blankets, towels, or shoes on the floor it can get kind of confused.

This iRobot is really good for small place without a lot of obstacles because it struggles to self-dock, especially if the docking station is in the different room than the iRobot. I've had other cleaning robots in the past and I've never had an issue with it, so this is definitely an area where iRobot could improve. It is extremely quite and has a fairly large bin, so that is always a plus. It was a little difficult to sync up to my phone, however after looking at a couple of videos online I figured it out.

I received this product to try for free in exchange for my honest opinions& review;thanks to Viewpoints Sampling. In no way does this sway my review on the iRobot Roomba 675 Vacuum. These thoughts are 100% my own. I was excited to be chosen to sample this because I had interest in one. Upon receipt of the iRobot Roomba 675, set up was very simple. You need to connect to your wifi& download free app to use. Takes about 4hrs to charge the system. Pros: The suction power on this vacuum is very impressive! It's picked up pacifiers, tweezers, toys. Although, most times leads to needing your attention/assistance to clear out the brushes. GREAT WITH PET HAIR! Easy to use, can set up cleaning schedule on the app; You can start/stop job from phone even away from home Large bin Cons: The Roomba often has difficulties finding, making it to&parking itself back on charging dock. More times I can count, found it dead in middle of floor, nowhere near dock. The iRobot Roomba 675 is SO VERY LOUD when in use. Especially on hard floors! We have an 8x10area rug in living rm&very small bathrm rug-when running on those the vacuum isn't nearly as loud, but even still can be heard from upstairs. It's very disruptive, especially at ni The vacuum once it bumps into anything, even trying to get on carpet,spins/bumps endlessly. It doesn't stay on a straight line path like TV commercial-ever. It hits something, goes a million different ways, hits something-clanking,bumping,suctioning. Leaving you to never really know if job get fully cleaned/finished. It often needs help, monitoring, rescuing. If you're a parent to young children like me,you have baby gadgets/toys everywhere. This also makes for great challenges when Roomba is running. Our vacuum constantly gets stuck on legs of jumper, swing, under pack n play. You have to be on this thing's rear end;otherwise app notifications will drive you insane with the amounts of time it requires your help/attention

We realize it’s a basic model of the irobot but we still think for a basic model it can do a better job especially going back to the dock. We had plenty of open space in front of the docking station yet sometimes it would circle our kitchen multiple times before I would get tired of it and take it back to the dock myself. We were disappointed that it didn’t map the rooms, or memorize them whatever you want to call it. But again basic model. It does pick up tho! We have two large breed dog and it will clean up all the hair as long as you let it do its job without ending the cleaning cycles early. I would recommend blocking the exit of a room if you really want it to focus on your living room for example. You will need to clean the bin out constantly during the cleaning cycle but that was no problem for me.

Buying the 675 probably was a mistake. With a more expensive model, we might have had better control of the robot. As it is, we are buying two virtual walls to direct the action in our living space.

Bought this on black Friday so got a great deal and really like it but it fairly easily gets stuck on your average bathroom type rugs, so I've had to play around with either picking up my bathroom rugs when I leave work for the day (because I have my Roomba scheduled to clean at noon everyday) or just shut my bathroom doors. That's a small inconvenience compared to how good this picks everything up though, from hardwood to carpet. Works great if you have inside animals which is why I got it! I have a large lab mix who sheds, and he's used to it cruising around the house every day at noon, so he sleeps right through the Roomba doing it's typical 1+ hour clean cycle. One other thing I noticed is that I've only had it a couple of weeks and it looks like it's been through WWII with scratches all over it from trying to go under things (i.e. bed frame, etc.). If you're not too picky about aesthetics and have animals in the house that shed, this is perfect for what you need. You'll be amazed at how much it picks up, even when you run it daily! I literally have to empty the contents daily.

I only gave the Roomba 675 3 stars because it doesn't map and leaves some of our floors untouched. If it mapped and swept the entire floor I would give it 5 stars. We have 2 dogs and a cat and 4 busy people in a small house with hardwood floors. Our home is clean for the most part but we could never stay on top of the floors. Roomba fills the gap sweeping just before we get home and truly makes a difference in the appearance of the floors. I already want to upgrade to a model that has mapping as the 675 does not and doesn't sweep the entire floor. It doesn't replace a broom entirely but is small enough to get under some of our furniture and remove the bulk of the pet hair and dirt. It only has the ability to schedule sweeping once daily, but you can easily start the cycle with a push of the button on the Roomba or by using the app on your phone. We are pleased with its proformance and would recommend it to anyone.

I am not a Roomba owner but considering a purchase for my sister who has health issues. Question is can the 675 be programmed to vacuum in a back and forth vacuum as an upright machine or is it only a random method of cleaning, bouncing from place to place.

We cannot program this model to go in various rooms. It misses our bedroom altogether. We moved it thinking we might be able to have it get to our pbedroom but it didn't work that way! Help!

I have my robot scheduled to run several times a week. Overall it does okay, however I cannot usually trigger it due to Cloud connection issues. I followed the instructions and have reset it probably a good five times. As long as I don't mess with the schedule then it works okay. I am disappointed it seems to miss spots on a regular basis. And not always the same spots. The other thing is I thought it had some sort of memory but it keeps getting itself stuck in certain areas, I wish it would just learn to not go there. Also the debris Bend or is extremely flimsy the design is terrible and it broke within the first month. Replacement parts are really expensive. Overall the convenience factor is great, the rest of it not so much
