Roomba
I thought it would be more efficient going from hard floor to rig. It's a thin rug. That's frustrating

I love it but already need to replace brushes. I started using it in January & run it 4 days a week

Expensive but worthit. Cleans pretty good, its not heavy, compress the dust, now my apt not only looks cleanner it feels cleanner. And you can use it as much as you want, effortless

I have had this Roomba about a month now. Most of my floors are hardwood, except for the bedrooms, which are carpeted. I had some problems getting the Roomba set-up initially. It said it needed to be charged, but wouldn't charge. I had pulled out the yellow plastic pieces, like the directions said, but it still wouldn't work. After messing with it for a while, all of the sudden it started working. For being the cheapest model I could find, I think it works pretty well! I just touch the start button and let it do it's thing. If I watch it closely, I notice that it tends to do the same area several times, while missing other areas. If there is a clump of dog fur on the floor, it will go right by it five times without grabbing it. But eventually, it does pick it up. It doesn't "remember" where things are, like other models. It just shifts after hitting something. I still love it because my floors are a lot cleaner day-to-day than they used to be. I only run the regular vacuum maybe once a week, but the Roomba fills in as needed throughout the week. The bin is always full, so I know it's working. Maybe someday I'll opt for a model with more bells and whistles. For now, I'm very happy with my purchase.

We bought our first Roomba about a year ago and was impressed at the job Rosie did. We have 2 cats and wife with allergies. I always thought we kept a pretty clean house but every time I ran our first unit I was amazed how much hair and dust it picked up even when things looked clean. We added Lilly to do our downstairs a couple of months ago and she is doing great. I run each one every other day on different schedules. We have hardwood upstairs and tile downstairs with one area rug in our living room. Both Rosie and Lilly can go under our furniture but every once and while they tend to get lost and not make it home to recharge. I like to empty dust bin after every use but when I have been out of town they seem to do fine even running 2 or 3 times without emptying. They make mopping the floor much easier and faster as we do not need to sweep the floors prior to mopping. Floors are much cleaner and allergies seem a bit better. They are a bit loud when running but after the first week the cats got used to them and sleep through both when they are running. Definitely a super time saver!

You need to make a mini roomba, for the places the normal-sized ones can't go.

Works great on hardwood floors.

Pet hair has to be cut from vac brushes. Needs to be cleaned regularly

I like this Roomba it functions just as well as my older ones. It does a good job cleaning but always comes back to the same areas over and over that I did not see my older Roomba doing. It does not dock well and the docking station is flimsy I wish I still had my bumpers to as this didn't come with any.

Programmed to run 4 times per week.
