Not thrilled...

The only benefit to me is the cleaning under furniture. However, it is a hassle in all other ways. It completes maybe one out of ten jobs. Usually it either gets wedged under furniture, or "trapped" in an area going round and round because it thinks its on a ledge. Black lines on a rug render it useless. If it makes it through those pitfalls, then the battery dies before it can figure out how to get "home." I am constantly fishing its dead caucus out from under beds, sofas, etc.

First one broke in less than a month.

I have it set on automatic everyday. It broke in less than a month and I used my store bought warranty to get a new one. I didn't want to wait to send it back to you and get another one. $50.00 wasted.

I would NOT buy this product again.

Our first Rumba was great. Hardly ever had a problem with it. After it died we bought a new one. This is a very inferior product to the first one. Would not buy one again.

I would not buy this product again!!!!

I bought the irobot 671 on Black Friday 2019. I use it for in-between cleanings that I do weekly with a central vac. I had a NEATO (the pet hair model) for many years before it finally had to be replaced so I have experienced what a robotic vacuum is capable of. The NEATO was easy to program because the menu was right on the vacuum - no Alexa or Google necessary. It cleaned better and was relatively low maintenance compared to iRobot 671 which takes approx. 20 minutes after each run to clean the brushes which have to be removed each time as they clog with pet hair around the ends and the main front wheel which is quite difficult to clean pet hair from having to use a small screw drive and tweezers. The dirt bin is quite small and it seems that the filter clogs quickly. NEATO did not clog like that and it took less than 5 minutes to clean it. I don't have Google or Alexa and when I tried to use the roomba app on my iphone, I eventually determined that this model wasn't compatible. So, I've been unable to program it which is annoying but not the deal breaker. I am very disappointed with the 671's performance. It misses areas in all rooms, and in particular, there is one spot on my low pile living room rug (2 x 2 ft) coloured black that the 671 always gets "stuck" on causing it to send out an error message that instructs me to move it. I've even tried turning the rug to test that it isn't something else at that spot, but no, it gets to the black area and stalls. It happens every time. That too is annoying but not the worst thing about the 671. The most disappointing thing about the 671 is that if fails miserably to pick up pet hair although its sold as something for pet hair, and it doesn't do a very good job on small debris like crumbs, missing more than it ever picks up. This was an expensive purchase. It should perform better. I wish I had not bought it.

Not good

This will not cross the black border on two of our carpets. I've tried a few of the 'remedies' found on the Internet only to find they don't work. You would think during product testing this would have manifested itself. I live in a ranch style house and don't have any steps to fall down. The factory says they have no cure, why not a download or switch to deactivate the cliff sensor? I know some sixth grade kids that would have recognized this problem.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

DONT BUY!!!. My vacuum broke after a short year of use. Horrible customer support. Not worth spending money to fix, when I can purchase a newer and better one. Very disappointed. Not worth the money at all, wish I could go back and not buy it. It now makes a loud noise when "trying to clean" and doesn't pick up anything when even when we placed debris right in front of it. I kept up on replacing the filters and brushes.

Worked great, then died just past warranty...

This was a great vacuum for the first 9 or 10 months. Great battery life, decent cleaning, found it's way back to the base consistently. It has a smaller storage bin for debris, but it's kind of fun to empty seeing all the stuff it picks up! Around 9 or 10 months, it started to not find the dock consistently or to charge even when we placed it on there. I found that if I put a book under it to prop it up it would charge. This makes it a pain, but still functional. I called the customer service and they said clean it. After cleaning it worked for a few days, but then back to the book. Now after 14 months (out of warranty), it no longer charges. Dead... Sadness...
