I purchased these to go along with the chainsaw. They have very long run time. Only down side is they are the larger foot print than my older 5ah and a quite a bit heavier. But they are paired perfectly for long run times with the two DeWalt saws I have.

I recently purchased a dewalt cordless leaf blower, and because of all the trees in our backyard, i use it twice a day in summer to keep our back patio clean. Having the larger battery really helps heaps in blowing leaves. Batteries tend to drop in power somewhat when they are close to out, so having a 6ah instead of 4ah makes a difference to how long i can use it AND how powerful the leaf blower is for that time. Great purchase, wish i bought these ages ago.

Was buying el cheapo batteries for my DeWalt tools and was tired of burning them up. So far so good on these batteries, better bang for your buck at this price than the knockoffs

These are the 1st 20v 6 AH batteries I’ve bought. Normally I buy the 5 AH, but these were a better deal at the time. They are significantly bigger and heavier than the 5AH. This isn’t a complaint. Just be aware what to expect. They have worked great so far. No complaints about the performance.

I am writing this review in hopes of clearing up problems with new batteries not charging. I ordered the pair of dewalt 20v 6 amp batteries. upon receiving the batteries they had 1 bar filled on the power indicator. I put them into the charger I already had dcb 115. The lights on the charger indicate they are charged, even though the battery is still showing 1 bar filled. I had the items replaced, they sent a new pair of batteries out. The new batteries had the same problem. one battery in the new pack even had the light for temp activate. even thought they sat in the house for 2 days. I was about to return the batteries and somebody told my it was the charger. Even though they tell you its universal and any charger will work...they wont. Today I purchased the dewalt fast charger DCB118. and the batteries are taking a charge, finally. it only cost me another $95.00 Since they sent a second pair of batteries and all 4 are charging, I guess that makes up for needing to buy another charger. The sellers may want to add that to the description: THAT YOU NEED THE DCB118 FAST CHARGER FOR THESE TO WORK.

These 2 Dewalt 6Ah batteries are monsters that deliver LOTS of power to run high-drain tools such as the Dewalt Sawzall reciprocating saw and the Dewalt 4.5-inch circular saw. I was initially disappointed when the first set of batteries came from Amazon because they wouldn't charge properly. I went to Amazon's website and did a return/exchange for the same product. I also arranged a UPS pickup of the defective batteries that came the next day (no charge to me). The UPS guy came to my door the next day with a return sticker for the box and took it away—zip! No cost and no hassle! The replacement Dewalt batteries arrived yesterday. I'm happy to report that both batteries charged up to a full 3 bars without any problems. Amazon took less than a week to replace the defective batteries and didn't charge me a thing. UPS picked up the bad batteries the next day at no charge. Wonderful service! Thanks Amazon. The batteries make my Dewalt tools so powerful that it's a bit scarey to use them. The 6Ah batteries let me use my Dewalt Sawzall to cut down a 5-inch dead tree in the back yard and a 4 1/5 inch live tree. Our yard is looking much neater and tidier thanks to the power of these batteries. UPDATE: I've had these batteries for several months and LOVE THEM! I recently bought a Dewalt 12" chainsaw, and these batteries let me power through large trees and branches like butter. I got a great deal on a pair of 6Ah batteries and always make sur to have them topped up after each use. Having 2 fully charged 6Ah batteries lets me work for a few hours with one, which then goes onto the charger. By the time the second battery is depleted, the first one is ready to use. I can keep going all day.

It been difficult finding a good tool store on Amazon- really difficult. The batteries were packaged well and is exactly what was purchased.

Expensive, but they're exactly what they say they are. I use these just about every day.

Skip the big box store,These two pack battery deal will not break the bank as at the big stores..These are the higher working time and power batteries,NOT to be confused with the lower power ones….I went for the cheaper , Lower power at the big box but those batteries burned out real fast,The cheaper lower power ones will wear out and WILL NOT take a charge after a few uses.
