Got my batteries delivered today, but one battery appears to be defected as it won’t charge past the 2nd led light indicating its charge. The other charged okay. I hope I can get it the bad replaced in a timely fashion.

Purchased these for just my saws. For the money pretty disappointing, they don't seem to last any longer and take twice as long to charge. And they are quite a bit heavier.

3 months in and one battery (it came in a 2 pack) has already died. I’ve been working them pretty hard (one full drain and recharge almost every weekday for 3 months running a sawzall cutting steel pipe) but I feel this is very premature failure. The other one is still going strong....for now.

These batteries are older shelf items. The manufacture date was Jan 2020 I bought these in April 2021. Not good for warranty as DeWalt honors 3 years replacement. That’s why the price was a little better. If something seems too good to be true or even just $20-$30 cheaper, there’s a reason.

I am so disappointed. I bought a Dewalt blower that came with a battery. That battery still works. I then bought a Dewalt hedger and saw so I bought extra batteries. I bought a 5 AH and two 6 AH. The extra 5 AH and one of the 6 AH stopped working soon after using them. I thought Dewalt was a reputable product. It can't be if it's batteries to operate it's products don't work.

I purchased the 2 pack of the DCB206 and from the beginning one of the batteries was flaky and wouldn't hold a charge. I use them with my cordless dewalt tools went to recharge one on a DCB112 charger and then tried on a DCB117 and still no response. I checked the voltage on the pack and find it to be 4.0v which is way to low for a 6s LiOn pack. This is not what I expected from a Dewalt product. The other battery in the pack is doing better, but still not what I expected. Questioning purchase.

I was surprised to found out that these DeWalt 20V XR DCB206-2 batteries won't charge on the DeWalt DCB112 4 AMP charger that can charge all other 20V XR DeWalt batteries including DeWalt DCB606-2 20V/60V MAX 6.0-Ah Batteries, and these batteries have to use the special DeWalt DCB115 8AMP charger. It's all 20V XR battery, so why not making them working with all chargers? DeWalt should make these batteries also be able to charge on the 4AMP charger, even if it takes longer time due to smaller current, rather than won't charge at all.

the dewalt products are not the same from 20 years ago. they're just built like $#%, it blows me away how bad the quality is now. I received two top of the line 6 ah batteries and one is weak in performance the other is great. 50-50 is not good.
