With 3 kids, 2 dogs, a full-time job. and an auto-immune condition, anxiety and joint pain can sometimes interrupt my sleep. This blanket is soft and gentle applying just enough pressure. By applying calming yet deep pressure it kept me from tossing and turning. Not only did I fall asleep quickly I slept through the night. The 12lbs is perfect for my needs, not to heavy not too light, I think is perfect. I truly believe it helps with my stress and anxiety, it made me feel safe, if you suffer anxiety you’ll understand the relief this brings. I think the size could be a little bigger, I think it will provide better coverage of the body and a little more room to move around. It did get lumpy, but to think is because I was trying to find the right way to laid it in my body, the beads got bunched up on one side and it was hard to spread them evenly again all over the blanket. Love the temperature balancing technology, it keeps you cold when is warm and warm when is cold. The removable cover can be wash, beads are made out of glass not plastic. This blanket is not recommend for kids. Is good blanket, give it a try for yourself.
