I’ve used it twice, on two different cars, and it worked perfectly both times. Comes with a pretty useful owner’s manual and an introductory page of instructions. At $20, can’t beat it.

Arrived on time and did the things it said it would. Used on my Honda Fit and worked great. I had never used a device to retrieve check engine codes.

Let me know that engine was miss firing and what cylinders. Then it's up to you to figure out why. Also device would not clear codes. However, after fixing the problem the check engine light went out under less that a mile of driving. Overall I am happy with the device and will use in the future as need arises.

Actually works! Didn’t have much confidence this would’ve any good for the price but it detected the code(s) and with supplied reference guide the condition was confirmed. This also clears the codes from the computer so the (service engine soon light goes out). Of course if not repaired the code will trip the computer again. Recommended to everyone from novice on up as it’s easy to use and takes the guess work out of the annoying service engine soon issues.

I’ve owned 2 of these scanners, I gave one to my dad to keep and I’m real happy with the results. Great prize and value.

Fairly basic but works just fine- used on a Hyundai Sonata 2017. For $20 you get what you get I guess. Not disappointed

AS a non-mechanic, I wanted an easy to use diagnostic tool to avoid damage to the vehicle and to know at least something when taking the vehicle to a mechanic for service or repairs.

Found out why my engine light was on and took my 2005 Ford Focus to my mechanic with this information. He ordered a small part and fixed the problem! I am very happy!

Definitely recommend! Was a gift I bought for someone. I didn’t get to snap a picture:( They said it does a good job . It was able to give a code and you can be able to figure out on your own what you need . Item looks same as in the picture. For this price you can’t go wrong!

My check engine light went on, bought this for $18.49, used it, told me to potential replace gas cap, replaced it with $3.99 cap from Autozone, light went off...... Thanks.
