Other than it being super loud, it worked well for about 6 weeks. Then it just stopped working. Not able to get sufficient help from Nespresso so I guess I’m out $100.

I wish I could say that I love this machine. It’s definitely much better than the Keurig in the coffee quality department (coffee tastes MUCH better). But, I purchased in May and only recently just started doing hot coffee (I do iced in summer). My coffee comes out lukewarm, and if I add a little creamer, I have to put it in the microwave because it gets too cold. Sometimes it tastes super watered down - I use the same pods everyday so I can tell pretty easily. The part where the pod auto dumps into the bin broke already from normal daily use. The design is quite frustrating, as it only fits a mug and if you want to use a taller cup you have to hold it yourself at an angle. I wish I could just get all my money back and buy a brand new one (the taller one with the automatic button lid) for almost the same price.

The machine was noisy and didn’t make hot coffee I returned it …

Ive had to buy three (3) machines. The first two did not descale correctly despite my neurotic attention to the kinda detailed you tube videos, buying the pricey de-scaler pouches, and scrupulous detail to keeping the machine clean--the light was always funky on top, signaling a problem. Although it's an iffy machine, it does (when working properly) make decent coffee with horrendously pricey capsules, and has a smallish foot print on my small counter. I used store-bought water, with NO additives, as my tap in this county is considered "hard"; I do not wanna destroy this small machine with lousy water. Despite careful daily attention to detail, it still required my purchasing three machines, which I am not happy about. The"traditional" decanter-style machines better engineered for longevity. Perhaps you will have better luck.

I had this machine for less than 1 years but used it every couple of weeks, if that (it was my backup convenience machine). I didn’t mind the hard close that is mentioned in other reviews, but now the machine is starting to make really loud popping noises when running a pod. I have to press down on it for the noise to lower. Tried calling Target about the 1 year warranty, they eventually gave me a number to call Nespresso (866-528-8323). Called Nespresso and they gave me another number to call since that was the incorrect department (866-212-9040). Tried calling the new number and someone picked up the call and I could hear others speaking to customers faintly in the background, but no one actually speaking to me. I hung up and am declaring this a loss. What a waste of time.

I purchased this to replace a different Verturo model that I had had for 6 years. The model seems cheaply made and poorly constructed. If I didn't have so many pods to use, I probably would have opted for a different brand.

Very loud, didn’t even last a year before it stopped working even though it was used only a few times a week (if that).

I love the coffee. However, the machine is not engineered well. I’ve had two and they both have broken. This also happened to several of my friends. They need to recall this machine.

I wanted to like this machine so bad, but it only worked fine just for the first two weeks. Everytime, I ran the water for cleaning, there would be continuous leakage. I called Nespresso and they are replacing it but I don’t think it’s normal that this happened when the machine is only two weeks old…

It is a nice compact size. However, the coffee is not hot. Within a few minutes, the coffee becomes too cool to enjoy.
