Exactly as described. We'll see how the rope contraption works that is responsible for opening and closing the umbrella. Kind of like a pulley system. Once the rope breaks then you're outta' luck for the umbrella to be able to open and close. Hopefully it will hold up for at least a couple of years.

Had the best price, and the umbrella is outstanding. High quality and doesn't move in the wind.I might be inclined to ding them, because the pictures do make it look like it comes with a base. I know it says in the description that it doesn't, but it's still a tad misleading.It's still a great deal, without the base.

WOW! Having a 9 foot patio umbrella at this price was great. The umbrella appears to be well constructed and sturdy. When I set it up, I was surprised at the quality of the materials and the durability of the mechanisms. I am sure that it will last for a long time with proper care.

This is a great patio umbrella for the price! I needed one late in the season being from Chicago I didn't want to spend an arm and leg for one. I purchased this one and arrived quickly. It is sturdy everything came perfectly packaged. Idefinitely recommend this patio umbrella!

So far so good. It is a nice size and the pole is sturdy. I am concerned about the crank mechanism, we'll see how long it lasts. Also, the umbrella had some imperfections in the seams which I'm hoping doesn't lead to the seams unraveling. For the price not bad.

The umbrella isn't a heavy duty umbrella. But it was what I was looking for. I had a little issue and they resolved it right away which I really appreciate !!!! Thank you. Would order again just because of customer service. They seem super dedicated to there product and customers !! Thank you !!!

A steal at this price point. Sturdy 7ft pole, vented on the top, adjustable tilt. Nothing to complain about.... if it lasts a few years at this price i'll be more than happy. Sure the canopy material is not super thick but at 1/3 of the price of the big brand/box store models who needs any more, it shades just fine. :)

I just used this today for the first time. It looks great. Color is lovely. Pole is dark grey. I took off one star because the fabric on the umbrella is thin to the point it does not fully block the sun. I would say it blocks about 80-90%. When standing in the shadow of the umbrella, I can faintly see my body shadow overlay the umbrella shadow. When looking up through the fabric, I can see the sun and faintly see another overlapping sail shade through the fabric. Check out the pic. Overall though, I'd say it is a nice umbrella for the price.
