So far so good, have it around a month, no complications so far, color looks still good, didn't fade.

steel makes it much sturdier. the crank makes it much easier to put up and down. overall a huge upgrade at a very small cost.

good umbrella had the stitching at the ends where the supports attach separate on 2 shafts had to resew them.... but the canvas is heavy and holds up well

The price was right and it does the job but I have 1 minor criticism. I have the Red version of this umbrella. I live in the Pacific NW where we don't get all that much sunshine and what we get isn't that intense, but after only 2 months on my east-facing deck, the color has already started to fade.

This is perfect to shield you from the sun for eating out, reading etc. -does not block 100% , reduces sun to a haze. Wind can move it, but I used a tied down to my fence to hold it in place. Not one you would leave up unoccupied I would have liked a print, but beige matchs house. Fine for the price. Tilt allows sitting out early and during sunset.

I got this umbrella in April. It is awesome!! It has been in pretty much direct sun all summer, no fading of the color at all! It's nice and sturdy too! Saw a review where someone said the wind caught it, blew it away and broke. Well, anchor it in the base and put it down when the wind kicks up!! LOL!!! Great umbrella overall, so glad I purchased it! Highly recommend!

Actually just got this umbrella yesterday and it was cloudy all day but I set it up anyway and last night I turned it on and it looked great! Today it rained like crazy and it repelled the water nicely! But I got to thinking my last one over the winter (in Oregon) got mossy as does everything in Oregon! So I want a cover for it! There's none to be found for a solar umbrella! WHY? Of all umbrellas you would think that solar panel should be protected for the harsh winter months! But I couldn't find one! And because of the solar panel will a normal one fit? I doubt it! If there's one out there pease steer me in that direction!
