Whole milk cold and fresh works best for me. Higher in fat, (more foam) cold,(denser foam) and fresh.(foam with endurance!) If you're using the top line, remove the spring from the whisk and attach to the inside of the lid or your frother WILL OVERFLOW. The top line is for recipes requiring more liquid than foam, and the spring creates far too much volume of foam at that level. It takes so little time to make another batch that using only the bottom of the two lines has been my habit. In this product's case, following directions can be critical to the enjoyment and life of the product. Makes a dense, creamy foam effortlessly from the bottom line, along with a good bit of liquid milk. Exactly why I purchased. Well done.

I love this product and so glad I bought it with the nespresso machine! Frothing my milk adds the best touch to my mornings coffee! I even add French vanilla creamer to it so it’s a sweet froth, I love it

This Aeroccino creates the frothiest delicious milk for all your barista at home creations. Make it cold or hot and you are good to go. Cleaning it is a bit involved (don’t forget to take that seal off and air dry or you’ll have a nice moldy lid)! Great for the value!

I have been using this nearly everyday for approx two months now. I have found it works best with Oatmilk for non-dairy options (I use the Trader Joe’s one that comes in the refrigerated section vs their shelf stable box for best foam). I also love the cold foam option. I am confused a bit though. The description says it offers 3 types of milk preparation, what is the third “hot milk” option? And how do prepare it without foam? No problems with it leaking or overflowing because I FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS and don’t fill past the “Max” line inside the container. To clean, I rinse out and re-fill with some water and occasionally a tiny drop of dish soap and press the heat button so that the soap and water mix into all the moving parts (like cleaning a blender). Definitely recommend adding this as an extra if buying a new machine!
