Workin’ Mom
Perfect for Frozen Fans! Easy to figure out, especially kiddos that enjoy STEM. Makes them really feel like they have their own powers!

I would recommend it for children 7+ because my grandchildren who just turned 6 are just a little bit too young for it but I was able to get through it pretty clearly. The kids still use it and are learning but in the beginning it was a bit advanced for them. It is made in a way that is fun for them to learn and the rewards are the Frozen characters that they love. You do not get the tablet with it, you will have to supply that part but it is a very neat little item to have. 4 stars.*Thank you for taking the time to read my review and if it helped you make an informed decision either way about this product please let me know by taking a quick moment of your time to vote it Helpful so I can keep track of my most helpful reviews. I hope you have a wonderful shopping experience!*

This is a fun kit that helps kids learn to code. You do have to provide your own device, tablet or computer, but everything else is provided. The booklet is easy to follow. The Frozen theme makes it attractive to boys and girls. It presents the concepts in an engaging, non-threatening way. Educational toys can be heavy handed and ultimately not enjoyable. This one is interesting and engaging.

The good side of this kit is that it makes coding fun and interactive. That is very important for the little ones. My daughter is still a little young to use the interface herself but together we do the courses/levels together. She likes saying let's make the snow bigger or faster or fly upwards. Only problem with the set after I built it was it doesn't stay together very long, little flimsy. I recommend for a young fan of frozen but many will need help with this to get started and make some of the more advanced tweaks.

My nine-year-old daughter has her own laptop that she likes to use to play Roblox. I'd like her to use her computer for more than that though, and this Frozen-themed kit is an opportunity to expand her horizons.Kano's been advertising on my Facebook feed for awhile (usually tied to Minecraft), so it's encouraging that they're branching out with other brands. Simply put, everything on a computer has code behind it, so it's more a matter of dressing up the appropriate code with the right brand to get a kid interested. Frozen II's debut is as good of an excuse as any.The sensor is a gesture-based interface to give the user the illusion of having Elsa's ice powers. It's not just a game though -- you have to code the program that turns these gestures into game effects -- so there's a fair bit of basic coding skill necessary to see results. That's the whole point of Kano, but if you have younger children who aren't familiar with computers or tablets, or if they just want to play Frozen games, this might not be for them.

Great coding kit for my 7yr old. She loves playing and making “magic” with her kindle. Occasionally the app freezes and have to restart
