Could not get the device to sync with any of our Kindle products (that are approved per Kano). My 8 year old was super excited to use this & we had to return.

It would help the actual customers if you had an alternative way to install the program besides "app stores". I would also be concerned with the lack of privacy using this device.

This is not worth a penny. The app doesn’t work in any of device even though it states to work on iPad and Mac. I tried in 2 iPad Air and 2 MacBooks with different versions of MacOS. On iPad it doesn’t connect to the device and on MacOS the app doesn’t open.

This was purchased and given as a Christmas gift. My 7 year old was so excited. Description states that this is compatible with the Kindle 7. THE APP DOES NOT EXIST!!!! There is no way to use this product! How is an item able to be sold that can not be used? This was completely unacceptable!

Daughter was very excited when received Frozen II coding kit as a late Christmas gift as she currently taking coding in middle school. Quickly assembled hardware and asked me to locate, download and install needed Kano software only to discover software not available for her tablet (verified current tablet was compatible before purchase). Needless to say she was very disappointed as she had planned to show younger sister her skills.

The PCB (motion sensor device) is fine, but the app is terrible. The interface often doesn't work, and even when you get it to work it is not fun for the kids. You can make snowflakes randomly show up on a screen, not that great.

Will NOT work for kindle! I have a brand new kindle meets all requirements BUT it's not a kindle 10. When trying to download the app it says unavailable. Tried to contact them and they just regurgitated what is on the website. What does screen size have to do with how an app works? I CANNOT RECOMMEND. Positive is they accepted the return no questions asked. One disappointed Frozen fan.

Not ready for prime time. It lags badly, if one misses a step or doesn’t quite follow it exactly (experimentation is key after all), app get confused and stuck in a loop. Concepts aren’t explained, it just tells you to drag this, do that without explaining why or what that is. I’m a developer so I can explain the concepts, but it’s still hard for any kid to follow along.

We gave this to our daughter for her 6th birthday because she loves coding games and Frozen. This has to be one of the most frustrating games ever. First, it says it is for ages 6 and up - but be warned that there is a LOT of required reading, so if your child isn’t a strong reader, you will have to walk them through the entire game. Second, the device and app are always getting out of sync... either the device is disconnected while the app thinks it is still connected (so it won’t give the option of trying to reconnect) or the device shows it is connected but the app can’t find it (no matter how many times you try to turn it off and reconnect it). TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!

5 iPads, old and new and the app was just a white screen. 1 iPad actually loaded to registration and still was “frozen”. I checked all the iPads against Kano’s requirements and they met or exceeded them. I’m sure this would be a neat toy if it worked, but I’m so frustrated, mostly because my daughter picked this out and really wanted it and it’s garbage. Go to the App Store and read the reviews of the app before buying, a lot of people are stuck on a white screen. I returned it because I don’t want to wait for the app developer to fix the problem. If you make a piece of hardware that is totally dependent on an app, you better make sure the app works and works well.
