Our baby LOVES this swing. She will contently lay in it while awake and also likes to nap in it. But beware, the swing is pretty noisy. It makes a rhythmic sound when the motor is running that’s fairly loud and when it gets going the poles that hold it together squeak with every motion. It’s kinda loud but a steady sound so doesn’t bother our baby at all. Sounds like an old rocking chair creaking. But I could see it being annoying for some babies (and parents). We don’t use the sound features (there’s a button for music and also for what I assume are nature sounds), so not worth returning but the nature sounds do not work on ours. I do think this swing is overpriced for what it is, but it keeps our baby content so worth it in our book. If our baby didn’t love it, I would give it 3 stars.

My daughter has been using this swing since she was two months old! We use it while she is at grandma’s house and she always manages to fall asleep in it. It is hard to move from room to room but not because it is heavy. It just takes up lots of room. My daughter is four months old and still uses this swing! My only worry is that it is so low to the ground. My sister’s puppy always manages to lick her toes while she’s swinging and this does not help especially if she’s trying to fall asleep.

I'm not sure what all these other reviewers are doing with their swings, but we've been using this swing daily for almost 5 months now and have never had any issues with it breaking or no longer working. It's held up very well and we have no complaints about the quality. I did take away one star due to the fact that the straps can't be removed to wash which is rather inconvenient if your baby spits up on them. There's only so much surface cleaning can do when it comes to vomit on thick straps.
