I bought one exactly like this several years ago. I use it frequently for soups, stews, chili, making stock and for cooking beets. The ability to use the presets or to manually set pressure/time is great. It has held up to prolonged use without any problems. The gasket is still working fine, and the unit still looks like new. This second one is for use at my in-law's house. If it does as well as my first one, they'll be very happy.

I bought this when our old crockpot finally gave up the ghost. It can do almost anything a crockpot can do plus a whole lot more. It has quickly become my wife’s favorite cooking appliance.

In my opinion, this is a must for your kitchen if you want to be efficient, smart, and save time while cooking. It is also multipurpose and helps so many things, even including fermenting yogurt with it's super-easy-to-use yogurt mode.
